Its not as crazy and really not much more then a qs. The Sundaes are delicious too.The Plaza! This is on my list of restaurants to try. I can't ever really eating at any TS restaurants in MK except for Be Our Guest we have always done more QS in Mk for whatever reason.
She really is. She just LOVES meeting with characters. DH and I debated just going to a few character meals instead of going into a park. I'm more happy with this option though.I love how little miss seems to be loving all the characters, such a fun trip! She is going to LOVE going back in a few months!
I thought of something else, The location for the Bus stop at MK and the service to it from Pop. We are trying to decide whether to drive ourselves or give transportation another shot.I will take note of both! I am worried about the a/c as well so i will notice that one for sure! My last experience with automatic check in wasn't so good, so hoping its better here! Let me know if you think of anything else
SHe was THRILLED!! Since then she has really gotten into a Tink craze. Just wait till you see her costume.Looks like visiting Tink was a good change in plans...Little Miss looks pretty happy!
We really did get some great Photopass shots this trip. Makes it a hard choice on Memory Maker for our Short trip coming up.Nice Photopass pics on Main Street. Cute magic shots!
Its a good choice when you just don't want the hassle of dealing with QS yourself. We've never been to the Plaza, but sounds good (and the ice cream looks delicious!)
I'll guess Belle for the princess dress.
I know right! SHe did Love it though. It is funny sometimes when the kids seem to know about things that you aren't quite sure how they know about that ... I guess just chock it up to Disney Magic and Pixie Dust. Seemed like a good result though as the pictures make it seem like she had a fun meet with Tink
We really did get some great Photopass shots this trip. Makes it a hard choice on Memory Maker for our Short trip coming up.Those are some nice family pictures from Main St! Also so fun Magic Shots
It really is a great choice for those meals when you just don't want the hassle of QS.Looks like a nice meal at the Plaza. We tend to forget about that as an option - and compared to counter service prices it really isn't that much more to eat there and sounds like a much more pleasant experience.
IT really does!I think your Little Miss has some of the sweetest character interactions! It just makes it all worth it.
We really did get some great Photopass shots this trip. Makes it a hard choice on Memory Maker for our Short trip coming up.Those are great photopass pics, too. I love when the photographer takes his or her time to get some good ones instead of rushing through.
I love the vegetarian sandwich and the cheese steak at the Plaza. For a couple dollars more than counter service, it's a great place to sit in air conditioning and enjoy your meal. You can also get a nice view of the castle. That little Mickey sundae is pretty cute!
I'll guess that your little sweetie wore a Cinderella dress. That was my granddaughter's first Disney dress, so I'll go with that.
That is great news!!! Congratulations!!!!!!
That we did!Too bad you weren't able to use the ADR, but it seems like you had a great time exploring Main Street and getting some PP pictures on the way in.
ITs a great option for those times when you just don't want to deal with QS.Sounds great! I'm glad you enjoyed your meal there. I want to get there sometime, but it just isn't a place that we've gotten around to visiting yet. I always go to the ice cream parlor there though just to get a sundae. And it is always nice to have some good Disney service!
Well, the meet makes me want to say Tink. But Tink isn't a princess... so we'll go with Cinderella.
Nope never taken her there never talked about it. I sometimes do wonder if she can read. I can only assume she saw a picture or something.Had you taken her there before?
I know there's a sign out front for the M&G, can she read yet?
Or maybe there's a Tink graphic on the sign?
hold that thought till we get to the next day.....Now this is not a knock on Little Miss at all, but Tink looks like she's thinking:
"I just got peed on!"
Makes the toss up to get memory maker or not for our short 1 day in the parks trip hard.Okay. Now that's just perfect.
You weren't kidding when you said (long time ago) that you had so many great shots of her!
Good plan. Sometimes you have to weigh the effort to the reward.
My girl can pack it away! When she wants too she can out eat DH!Did she eat all of that?!?!?
That's great! So nice when you get a server who's really on their game.
Nice.
Indeed!I've yet to even set foot in there.
So many restaurants... so little time.
Belle.
THe ice cream was very tasty. We really did get some great Photopass shots this trip. Makes it a hard choice on Memory Maker for our Short trip coming up.Oh m goodness, that ice cream looks so delicious! Great pics of you guys on Main Street; I love the magic shots too -- they are perfect. I'm going to guess Little Miss wanted to wear her Tinker Bell dress after that awesome encounter
I think so too!Your daughter is adorable
Caught up! Phew, what a roller coaster! Hugs! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your adventure!
The sundaes are great!Great family photos of you all in front of the castle. I had booked the Plaza for one of our trips but had to cancel it. I know it is just American food but the sundaes look idea and a meal my kids would really like. I think we need to try it next time.
hold that thought till we get to the next day.....
I kept trying to remind myself to write down our Server's name every time we had a really good one. We had a great one at Cali Grill, and I really wish we would have remembered his name to tell guest services about him.Our one regret of the meal was forgetting to get our server’s name because she was absolutely AMAZING!
Which Princess Dress does Little Miss put on and insist on wearing the rest of the night?
THanks! Its a sweet one.Love this picture of her and Tink!!
I'm unfortunately terrible about remembering to write down names.I kept trying to remind myself to write down our Server's name every time we had a really good one. We had a great one at Cali Grill, and I really wish we would have remembered his name to tell guest services about him.
I'm going to guess Belle.
I know! Its going to be VERY hard to keep this a secret to Little Miss. Good thing she's 3 and I can still pull this stuff off pretty easy. How exciting that you have a 1 day park trip planned next year! It's always nice to have an excuse to go to WDW even if it's just one day. But the cost of a one day park ticket... sigh, when did it get so expensive?
Very cute pictures on main street! Little Miss looked like she loved Tink! And she even got a magic shot with her!
Hmm I'm gonna say she put on an Elsa dress.
I loved how she was pointing at Anna's boots. The things that fascinate a toddler...They had a cute conversation about their matching dresses and Little Miss became fascinated with her shoes.
This may just be part of Elsa’s personality as a whole but we kind of found Elsa a little…. not dull exactly… Flat maybe
This is exactly what we noticed with them as well. Anna was the much better princess to meet. She was nice but not very chatty, and was very much in the love and shove mood. Just closed off is the best way I can think to describe her. Anna was for sure the better of the two meets hands down.
As a matter of fact the only way we got Little Miss to leave to stroller parking to go in to see Anna and Elsa was to promise to ride it after we finished with our Meet and Greet.
IASWWhat Ride did we go to next?
3How Many More PhotoPass Stops do we make before we leave?
Next time maybe.Oh dang it! I was very close to guessing Anna!!
Nope we saw her on the first day.I thought maybe you had a meet n greet with Ariel later too. Or were planning to go on Under the Sea with Ariel.
I get it I do, but even when we went back with an elsa shirt on she was the same way.But the Elsa and Anna meet n greet are very cute! Elsa has always been a bit more reserved, I find, I guess they portray her to be the older "ice queen" sister. Not cold, but just not as bubbly as Anna, who is definitely the chatterbox!
I think one of the reasons is because they separated them so now they aren't together. When we met them on the cruise they were together and both of them were fun to talk to at the same time because they played off of each other, and Elsa seem definitely more chatty then!
OK gotta get more points! I say...teacups! And 4 more photopass pics!
She already insists on not leaving the house without her "credit cards"!(Old room keys and unwanted rewards cards)Either that, or Little Miss is intrigued by fashion and you're not going to be able to afford her when she's a teenager.
I get it I do, but is that really the right attitude to let a princess have when she has so many girls look up to her? This is exactly what we noticed with them as well. Anna was the much better princess to meet.
Elsa was just a little cold.
IASW
After leaving dinner we started to head towards Fairytale hall to get to our Anna and Elsa FPs. We quickly figured out that even though it was only 8:30 the areas around Cinderella’s castle were blocked off for the Fireworks at 10. They made us go all the way around over by the tea cups to get back there.
This may just be part of Elsa’s personality as a whole but we kind of found Elsa a little…. not dull exactly… Flat maybe.
a CM offered to put pixie dust in our hair. And let me say boy does that stuff stick around!
From there we took a spin on the Carousel which made Little Miss happy because she had been DYING to ride it every time we’ve past it.
As a matter of fact the only way we got Little Miss to leave to stroller parking to go in to see Anna and Elsa was to promise to ride it after we finished with our Meet and Greet.
What Ride did we go to next?
As we exited into the gift shop we stopped to let Little Miss admire the Minnie “Elsa” display and a CM offered to put pixie dust in our hair. And let me say boy does that stuff stick around!
Whoa. That's quite the detour!
uh huh... SURE!!!!Dang it! Anna! I meant to say she wore an Anna dress!!
I can understand that description. We won't be bothering to meet them this upcoming trip.I keep hearing that. Actually, the last TR I read, she was called a "B" word.
It must be the character.
"Remember. You're the ice queen. Cool. Distant."
Found some for days after the trip, did you?
Get that kid on a carousel! Stat!
A little bribery can go a long way.
Gonna go with either a FP for PP or (ick) IASW.... hmmm.... I'll pick IASW.
She really does. Its very fun to watch.I swear your Little Miss had some of the sweetest character interactions! Such a doll!
Yes, Elsa can be a little "cold." I've heard that many times.
Nope Merida was one that we have skipped so far. She hasn't even seen the movie yet.Did you meet Merida this trip? I think she's one of the best to meet.
I'll guess Winnie the Pooh was the ride you rode next.
It wasn't quite THAT bad for us but it stuck around for a good week or two.Oh my goodness, YES!! We had pixie dust from Harmony Barber Shop and I swear I was still scraping it out of DD's hair 4 weeks later. They have to use spray glue instead of hairspray to keep that stuff in.
I can only assume so. Though its a strange choice for such a popular meet and greet.I think Elsa's "flat-ness" is part of the theming. We had 4 separate families in our party say the same thing and I have seen it mentioned on the boards a few times.
I totally agree!I can only assume so. Though its a strange choice for such a popular meet and greet.
