“Dreams Come True Momma!” A 2 year old’s first trip ~ May 2015~Complete {NEW TR LINK!}

Caught up! Phew, what a roller coaster! Hugs! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your adventure!:cheer2:

Great family photos of you all in front of the castle. I had booked the Plaza for one of our trips but had to cancel it. I know it is just American food but the sundaes look idea and a meal my kids would really like. I think we need to try it next time.

The Plaza! This is on my list of restaurants to try. I can't ever really eating at any TS restaurants in MK except for Be Our Guest we have always done more QS in Mk for whatever reason.
Its not as crazy and really not much more then a qs. The Sundaes are delicious too.

I love how little miss seems to be loving all the characters, such a fun trip! She is going to LOVE going back in a few months!
She really is. She just LOVES meeting with characters. DH and I debated just going to a few character meals instead of going into a park. I'm more happy with this option though.

I will take note of both! I am worried about the a/c as well so i will notice that one for sure! My last experience with automatic check in wasn't so good, so hoping its better here! Let me know if you think of anything else :D
I thought of something else, The location for the Bus stop at MK and the service to it from Pop. We are trying to decide whether to drive ourselves or give transportation another shot.

Looks like visiting Tink was a good change in plans...Little Miss looks pretty happy!
SHe was THRILLED!! Since then she has really gotten into a Tink craze. Just wait till you see her costume.

Nice Photopass pics on Main Street. Cute magic shots!
:thanks: We really did get some great Photopass shots this trip. Makes it a hard choice on Memory Maker for our Short trip coming up.

We've never been to the Plaza, but sounds good (and the ice cream looks delicious!)
Its a good choice when you just don't want the hassle of dealing with QS yourself.

I'll guess Belle for the princess dress.
:rolleyes1

It is funny sometimes when the kids seem to know about things that you aren't quite sure how they know about that ... I guess just chock it up to Disney Magic and Pixie Dust. Seemed like a good result though as the pictures make it seem like she had a fun meet with Tink
I know right! SHe did Love it though.

Those are some nice family pictures from Main St! Also so fun Magic Shots :thumbsup2
:thanks: We really did get some great Photopass shots this trip. Makes it a hard choice on Memory Maker for our Short trip coming up.

Looks like a nice meal at the Plaza. We tend to forget about that as an option - and compared to counter service prices it really isn't that much more to eat there and sounds like a much more pleasant experience.
It really is a great choice for those meals when you just don't want the hassle of QS.

I think your Little Miss has some of the sweetest character interactions! It just makes it all worth it.
IT really does!

Those are great photopass pics, too. I love when the photographer takes his or her time to get some good ones instead of rushing through.
:thanks: We really did get some great Photopass shots this trip. Makes it a hard choice on Memory Maker for our Short trip coming up.

I love the vegetarian sandwich and the cheese steak at the Plaza. For a couple dollars more than counter service, it's a great place to sit in air conditioning and enjoy your meal. You can also get a nice view of the castle. That little Mickey sundae is pretty cute!
::yes::

I'll guess that your little sweetie wore a Cinderella dress. That was my granddaughter's first Disney dress, so I'll go with that.
:scratchin

That is great news!!! Congratulations!!!!!!
:thanks::dogdance:

Too bad you weren't able to use the ADR, but it seems like you had a great time exploring Main Street and getting some PP pictures on the way in.
That we did!

Sounds great! I'm glad you enjoyed your meal there. I want to get there sometime, but it just isn't a place that we've gotten around to visiting yet. I always go to the ice cream parlor there though just to get a sundae. And it is always nice to have some good Disney service!
ITs a great option for those times when you just don't want to deal with QS.

Well, the meet makes me want to say Tink. But Tink isn't a princess... so we'll go with Cinderella.
:rolleyes1

Had you taken her there before?
I know there's a sign out front for the M&G, can she read yet?
Or maybe there's a Tink graphic on the sign?
Nope never taken her there never talked about it. I sometimes do wonder if she can read. I can only assume she saw a picture or something.

Now this is not a knock on Little Miss at all, but Tink looks like she's thinking:
"I just got peed on!"
:rotfl2: hold that thought till we get to the next day..... :rotfl:

Okay. Now that's just perfect.
You weren't kidding when you said (long time ago) that you had so many great shots of her!
::yes:: Makes the toss up to get memory maker or not for our short 1 day in the parks trip hard.

Good plan. Sometimes you have to weigh the effort to the reward.
::yes::

Did she eat all of that?!?!?
::yes:: My girl can pack it away! When she wants too she can out eat DH! :rotfl:

That's great! So nice when you get a server who's really on their game.
::yes::

::yes::

I've yet to even set foot in there.
So many restaurants... so little time.
Indeed!

:scratchin

Oh m goodness, that ice cream looks so delicious! Great pics of you guys on Main Street; I love the magic shots too -- they are perfect. I'm going to guess Little Miss wanted to wear her Tinker Bell dress after that awesome encounter :)
THe ice cream was very tasty. :thanks: We really did get some great Photopass shots this trip. Makes it a hard choice on Memory Maker for our Short trip coming up. :rolleyes1

Your daughter is adorable
:thanks: I think so too! :flower3:

Caught up! Phew, what a roller coaster! Hugs! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your adventure!:cheer2:

The sundaes are great!

Love this picture of her and Tink!!

Our one regret of the meal was forgetting to get our server’s name because she was absolutely AMAZING!
I kept trying to remind myself to write down our Server's name every time we had a really good one. We had a great one at Cali Grill, and I really wish we would have remembered his name to tell guest services about him.

Which Princess Dress does Little Miss put on and insist on wearing the rest of the night?

I'm going to guess Belle.

How exciting that you have a 1 day park trip planned next year! It's always nice to have an excuse to go to WDW even if it's just one day. But the cost of a one day park ticket...:crazy2: sigh, when did it get so expensive?

Very cute pictures on main street! Little Miss looked like she loved Tink! And she even got a magic shot with her! :smickey:

Hmm I'm gonna say she put on an Elsa dress. princess:

Firstly, I shall say, surprisingly NO ONE has gotten the points for princess dress. I am getting ready to do final edits and adding in the photos for the next update. I'll check back once more before I post to see if anyone has changed their answer. Because no one seems to have gotten it yet if I see a correct answer before I post I'll make it worth 10 points.

Love this picture of her and Tink!!
THanks! Its a sweet one.

I'm unfortunately terrible about remembering to write down names.

I'm going to guess Belle.

:hyper: I know! Its going to be VERY hard to keep this a secret to Little Miss. Good thing she's 3 and I can still pull this stuff off pretty easy.

For the First time in Forever…. (5/10/15 Part 4)

After leaving dinner we started to head towards Fairytale hall to get to our Anna and Elsa FPs. We quickly figured out that even though it was only 8:30 the areas around Cinderella’s castle were blocked off for the Fireworks at 10. They made us go all the way around over by the tea cups to get back there.

After parking the stroller and a quick minor wardrobe change we were off to see Anna and Elsa. While the wait at the FP for the Cinderella and Rapunzel meet on the first day was a tad longer than expected, we had no more than a 10 minute wait here, which was a pleasant surprise. Before we knew it we were meeting them.

First came Anna.

They had a cute conversation about their matching dresses and Little Miss became fascinated with her shoes.

Then came Elsa,

This may just be part of Elsa’s personality as a whole but we kind of found Elsa a little…. not dull exactly… Flat maybe:confused3. She was nice but not very chatty, and was very much in the love and shove mood. Just closed off is the best way I can think to describe her. Anna was for sure the better of the two meets hands down.

As we exited into the gift shop we stopped to let Little Miss admire the Minnie “Elsa” display and a CM offered to put pixie dust in our hair. And let me say boy does that stuff stick around!

20150510_205401_zpsrg7ncjwh.jpg

From there we took a spin on the Carousel which made Little Miss happy because she had been DYING to ride it every time we’ve past it. As a matter of fact the only way we got Little Miss to leave to stroller parking to go in to see Anna and Elsa was to promise to ride it after we finished with our Meet and Greet. :rolleyes2

20150510_210116_zps8qfwk2n9.jpg

And while her look in the photo may not show it she really did LOVE it. DH took a bunch of pictures and tried to get a video of it that is the only one that was good.

***Bonus Question***

What Ride did we go to next?

How Many More PhotoPass Stops do we make before we leave?

Hmm, OK by process of elimination...it's not Elsa, Cinderella, Belle, or Tink (who isn't a princess anyways...) so that leaves Anna, Merida, Mulan, Ariel, Rapunzel, Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine, Tiana...wow there's just too many to choose from. But considering you're at MK, I'm going to say...Ariel (crosses fingers).

Oh dang it! I was very close to guessing Anna!! :) I thought maybe you had a meet n greet with Ariel later too. Or were planning to go on Under the Sea with Ariel.

But the Elsa and Anna meet n greet are very cute! Elsa has always been a bit more reserved, I find, I guess they portray her to be the older "ice queen" sister. Not cold, but just not as bubbly as Anna, who is definitely the chatterbox!
I think one of the reasons is because they separated them so now they aren't together. When we met them on the cruise they were together and both of them were fun to talk to at the same time because they played off of each other, and Elsa seem definitely more chatty then!

OK gotta get more points! I say...teacups! And 4 more photopass pics!

They had a cute conversation about their matching dresses and Little Miss became fascinated with her shoes.
I loved how she was pointing at Anna's boots. The things that fascinate a toddler...

Either that, or Little Miss is intrigued by fashion and you're not going to be able to afford her when she's a teenager.

This is exactly what we noticed with them as well. Anna was the much better princess to meet.

Elsa was just a little cold. :rolleyes1

Next time maybe.

I get it I do, but even when we went back with an elsa shirt on she was the same way.

OK gotta get more points! I say...teacups! And 4 more photopass pics!
:rolleyes1

Either that, or Little Miss is intrigued by fashion and you're not going to be able to afford her when she's a teenager.
::yes:::scared1:::yes:: She already insists on not leaving the house without her "credit cards"!(Old room keys and unwanted rewards cards)

This is exactly what we noticed with them as well. Anna was the much better princess to meet.

Elsa was just a little cold. :rolleyes1
::yes:: I get it I do, but is that really the right attitude to let a princess have when she has so many girls look up to her? :confused3

I keep hearing that. Actually, the last TR I read, she was called a "B" word. :rolleyes1
It must be the character.
"Remember. You're the ice queen. Cool. Distant."

a CM offered to put pixie dust in our hair. And let me say boy does that stuff stick around!

Found some for days after the trip, did you?

From there we took a spin on the Carousel which made Little Miss happy because she had been DYING to ride it every time we’ve past it.

Get that kid on a carousel! Stat!

A little bribery can go a long way.

What Ride did we go to next?

Gonna go with either a FP for PP or (ick) IASW.... hmmm.... I'll pick IASW.

And two more PP visits.

I swear your Little Miss had some of the sweetest character interactions! Such a doll!

Yes, Elsa can be a little "cold." I've heard that many times. Did you meet Merida this trip? I think she's one of the best to meet.

I'll guess Winnie the Pooh was the ride you rode next.

Oh my goodness, YES!! We had pixie dust from Harmony Barber Shop and I swear I was still scraping it out of DD's hair 4 weeks later. They have to use spray glue instead of hairspray to keep that stuff in.

I can understand that description. We won't be bothering to meet them this upcoming trip.

She really does. Its very fun to watch.

Nope Merida was one that we have skipped so far. She hasn't even seen the movie yet.

I'll guess Winnie the Pooh was the ride you rode next.

:rotfl: It wasn't quite THAT bad for us but it stuck around for a good week or two.

I think Elsa's "flat-ness" is part of the theming. We had 4 separate families in our party say the same thing and I have seen it mentioned on the boards a few times.

I can only assume so. Though its a strange choice for such a popular meet and greet.
