As a Pat's fan, the "probable" doesn't prove anything. It seems to be more speculation and opinion and no solid proof. It does also say that Belichick knew nothing about it.

I just posted the link, I don't have a horse in this race. This pretty inconclusive story will probably waste several minutes of Pardon the Interruption today...and I won't like that.

Which is exactly the reaction I expected from Pat fans. Those that think they can't do any wrong will continue to believe that and those that think they are cheaters will continue to believe that.

Read back into this thread, as a Pat's fan, I don't EVER think they "would never" however I do grow tired of all those that would blame the weather on them if they could.

You do understand that other QB's, both active and retired have already come forward and said that what the Patriots did with the pressure is standard procedure in the NFL -correct? If you still want to feel the way you do, that's fine, but it's almost guaranteed that your teams QB does the same thing.

I'm getting the feeling that it's more hatred towards Brady and the Patriots than it is actually that they "broke" a "rule".

Love the definitiveness of it By the texts I've seen, appears the ball boys may have done something, or at least talked about (not that guys ever talk about stuff that may or may not be real).

I hope everyone gets off Belichick's back now. If this investigation cleared him, you know he's clean. The NFL would have loved nothing more than to string him up, and they couldn't. Goodell must be stomping his feet about now!

I couldn't care less if you or anyone else "hates" the Patriots -no more than if drinking a glass of milk before a game was against the rules and your QB got caught. It wouldn't bother me in the least.

It's only a game -and besides, once Belichick retires your team is bound to win something someday!

First read the report, no where does it even allude to Belichick knowing anything about it. It does say more probable than not, so inconclusive. If I'm on a jury & I think the defendant is "probably" guilty I still can't convict without the evidence the are actually guilty, not just MEH they did it.

In the end & then I am not wasting any more thought, it may be a fine or 1 game, I think he will just polish his ring at home that day. Neither Brady or Belichik are going anywhere. You can hate them all you want or probably more when the Patriots, Brady, Kraft & Belichick get ring #5.

And if you think he should get more put it perspective- you flatten your GF in public on camera & get 2 games. You might have deflated a ball in a game and clock the opponents when it was rectified, what do you get. Which is worse?
Let's see Goodell figure that out.


Oh btw the tested the Colts balls but only 4 but 3 were under inflated, they didn't have time to test the rest according to officials
