Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

The hubby and I are choosing to skip Remy and Palo on this trip. I want to try all of the regular restaurants, and there is no way I am missing pirate night! pirate:
We plan on doing an onboard booking for a 7 night cruise when we sail, and I plan on us getting to both the next time around. :sail:

I'm right there with ya on all of that!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I'm with you-I love food as well :)

Now I've got to put this out there because I'm curious... is anyone planning to dine at Palo or Remy? We were considering it but to be totally truthful I'm a little put off by this recent price increase so that seems to have made the decision for us. Yes, it is only $5 (for Palo that is a 20% increase!) but it is the principle of the thing. Just curious if anyone feels the same or if I should to let it go and book a brunch anyway...

We will have the Palo brunch - so many choices and fantastic options! haven't tried Remy yet but have dines at Palo on every one of our cruises so far so may pass on it this time.

Thanks for such a great explanation.......I am so glad to hear it! I finished watching the Disney Dream food thing yesterday, and I reeeaaaallly want to try that Grand Marnier souffle at Royale Palace. I was thinking since I want it so bad, I would end up in that restaurant on Pirate night and miss out!!:sad:
Oh, and scallops with dinner every night DOES sound like heaven!!!

Just always keep in mind that whichever restaurant you are at twice, one night is the regular menu and than the next night has the pirate night menu. You won't miss out on anything :) It is all so yummy :)

We did the Palo Brunch last year (10:30am) and it was well worth the money. The food was excellent. For the $5.00 increase, I would do it again :)

With this being our first cruise, we are planning to stick with the MDR's. I want to experience them all for myself, and I don't want to pay for something when I already have a meal provided. That feels like double paying to me. Plus, with us visiting the parks before and after, I don't want to deal with packing true dress clothes.

Well y'all are making me torn on this whole Palo/Remy issue! I've been a bit frustrated with the sky high Disney prices the whole time we've been planning our trip. We're heading to Paris in the Fall and that 8 night trip is costing much less than our 8 night Disney World/cruise vacation. As far as I'm concerned that is just all kinds of wrong! Figured I may as well protest where I can but we'll see if I give in and do brunch anyway...I hold grudges though so I think I'll stay strong ;)

40?? you look like your only 21!! I think they may card you for our drink class. Happy Birthday Amber!!!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!

Haha!! Trust me, I won't get carded when they see the "really creepy cracks" around my eyes (like my 4 year old likes to call them)!

Yea me My adult FE gifts are almost done. Does anyone want to see what it is?? I'll still wait until the end of June to personalize them.

but but if you do see it now, then you can say when you get to your room "looks like Joe was here" How about just one side?
