Just Keep Swimming - March 31-April 7, 2013 - Closing Thoughts (Updated 5/17)

What a cute little mini golf course. Playing mini golf at Disney is still on my bucket list. It really looks like so much fun!

WOW! I mean you expect Disney to do an amazing course, but that is so adorable! Thanks for taking all those pictures, glad I got to see it! (Makes me want to go!)

Did you scooter or walk the mini golf? My wife uses a scooter and we're afraid the scooter wouldn't work with the course. Any insight?

I am cursing ever hearing about Nyan cat.

That does look like fun. I haven't played miniature golf in years. My DH has a problem with my score keeping. Half a stroke for me, 6 for him. He thinks I cheat. :rotfl2: I may need to check it out next trip.

Thanks for including pictures of each hole. I love it!

I especially like the little poems they had at each hole. :lmao:

I had no idea how adorable that was. I loved hole #12 with the gnomes burried in the sand! :) Hole 18 looks fun too! What a great experience.

Mark and I have to make an effort to get back there on our trip in August. I miss not playing there.

Loved the pictures...brought back lots of memories when we played with the boys there.

Isn't it the cutest ?? Fantasia is just as cute. It was a good way to spend a few hours on our rest day.

I walked at the mini-golf. I would say that this course isn't really handicap accessible. BUT it is really compact and walking through wasn't a problem. There is a bench at practically every hole, so you can sit if you need to.

Seriously .... most annoying thing EVER

I highly recommend !! We had a good time. Make him keep score !!

Looks like a blast! :)

It was !!

Well, I though you would. That is why I did it. LOL. I just thought people would be interested in seeing all of the details. I know I really like to see that kind of stuff, so I thought I would share.

It was really fun. Yes, good memories. Everyone got along and no one got mad. You know how kids can be sometimes.

Love those pictures

Thanks !! I am glad you are following along !!

Day 4 -Part Three

After our round of mini-golf, we headed back to BLT to rest for a few hours. And then we headed over to the Magic Kingdom. Just a short walk. No big deal.

We got FPs for Buzz and then headed over to Big Thunder and rode that. DD and DS played with the new queue stuff.

Then we rode the Peoplemover

It was starting to get dark and looked like rain.

After the Peoplemover, it was time for our ADR for the Plaza.

A few photos from dinner

For a full review of this meal go HERE.

After dinner, we rode Buzz and then we headed back to BLT. At some point, during the day, I must of bought these pajama pants. Because I took a photo.

OR this was after I had taken my pain pill and I was maybe loopy. This may be evidenced by the following photos as well.

We watched the Electrical Water Pageant

Crappy photos, but here they are.

After that, we went to sleep.

Far behind again!!

The Tangled area looks so beautiful in the evening! Love that movie! :goodvibes

What a fun day mini-golfing! The course is so cute!

But there is wedding planning to do !! We all understand and we can't WAIT to read about it !!!

It really is a beautiful area. I have more pictures of it during the day. I think it really helps with that bottleneck that used to happen there.

We did have fun mini-golfing. It was so cute !!

Day 5 – Part One

We awoke on this morning to some rainy weather. And more rain was predicted throughout the day. We debated going back to sleep, but MK was opening at 7 AM and we wanted to do some things there. We thought that maybe the rain might keep the crowds at bay. We checked the radar and although light and spotty rain was in the area, a more steady rainfall was predicted for later in the day. So we packed some ponchos, woke up the kids and headed out.

Dreary MK photos

Looks like we were right about the crowds.

DH ran to get FP’s for Peter Pan while DS went to ride Space Mountain. DD and I went to ride Under the Sea.

After that, DD and I headed over to Storybook Circus to ride the Barnstormer.

We rode this two times in a row. Then DH came to meet us and he rode with DD again. At this point, DS met back up with us.

DD rode the teacups by herself and DH and DS went over to get us FP’s for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, while DD and I rode Winnie the Pooh.

And next, we headed over to ride Peter Pan.

That was my arrival day and those clouds were not fun to fly through. We hit a bit of turbelence when we were about a half hour from Florida.

You got a lot done. I have never done rope drop because travelling with small kids does not make that easy. DH and I both get up early so we may have to try that this next trip. Usually we try and do an early CP breakfast and get done by 9 but I am trying to decide if I really want the Puffed French Toast. The only reason I go there.

I haven't flown anywhere in years, but I imagine that a bumpy flight is quite disconcerting.

We really got a lot done that morning. I am so glad we decided to go instead of sleep in. We have been to CP a couple of times, but I have found that a TS breakfast can eat up valuable park time if you don't plan it right. I have never tried the puffed french toast, but it gets a lot of love here on the DIS.

Day 5 – Part Two

After our flight over London, we went to ride Haunted Mansion.

After that, we had some pretzels while we waited for our FP’s for BTMRR to come up. There was girl outside the shop in Fontierland giving out lollipops.

Apparently, someone had opened a bag in the store so they were giving them out.

So DS and I got FP’s for Splash Mountain and we rode BTMRR.

Then we went over to ride Pirates of the Caribbean.

After that, DS and I rode Splash Mountain

While DD and DH rode Dumbo.

After that, they hopped on the train to meet us at Splash Mountain. DS and I were stuck because DH took the park bag and it had my scooter key in it. So we waited a while for them to get back. This was around 11 AM and the park was starting to get pretty packed.

Photos from the train.

Finally, we met back up and went over to Columbia Harbor House for lunch.
We love this place for lunch. A few photos …

For a full review of Columbia Harbor House go HERE.

It is very hard to go anywhere without the scooter key. :rotfl2: Sounds like a great morning and you really accomplished a lot. I like the train ride as a change of pace.

CHH is amazing. I never ate there til this past august. If I can convince my DH to like shrimp we will be splitting a platter too. I force myself to eat it all and you are right it really is more than enough for 2 people. One of the reasons we aren't doing the DP on our trip. I eat more food than I really want to eat and we throw out desserts because we never get around to them.
