Actually, your cheapest option is 2 connecting rooms at a value resort with free dining. We are a large family and we do this every year.

Agree totally. Not only cheapest but most comfortable with 3 adults in party. AoA has sofa and murphy bed as other 2 sleeping options.

My day, too! Going 8/25-8/31 and was really thinking we'd have FD. At this point, I'll take any real discount!

Sorry, I couldn't keep up on my phone over lunch.

The visa discounts come about three days before the public. Usually this is a Thursday; HOWEVER, it looks like the general public will fall on a Thursday which would mean even earlier for Visa...like around the 6th.

This is why I was making sure the 9th was the public date, which looks to be the case.

Perhaps too many people booked first for late August on advice from most travel agents, in the hope of adding a code for FD later on. Thus, seems to Disney that there are no shortage of crowd in late August.

We are checking in on Sept 1 do we need to call and cancel check in date on the 1st at a value then check in on Sept 2nd to get the free dining.

I have a question, I have booked three rooms at one of the included value resorts. The people in two of the rooms already have purchased tickets and the person staying in the third room will need to buy tickets, will this cover FB for EVERYONE in the party since the rooms are all linked together?

A lot of times in the past they have had room only and FD discounts simultaneously during the same time frame.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My reservation is on a rewards card that expired last year, so I'm stuck with room only.

Wow Black and Danny, you two are amazing! Congratulations to those who have been waiting and hoping for FD during this timeframe!! I have a couple of quick questions about the time frame following the upcoming late summer offer. We will be arriving Sept. 28th and leaving on Oct. 6th, so I'm assuming I should be hoping for a FALL discount .... is it likely that a discount (if any are released) won't be announced until July or Aug? And when are typical "October black-out days"?

So the campsites are included!? I had a campsite in 2011 and received free dining. I just joined the DISBoard thing and have basically received aggressive hate posts about how I was wrong that I couldn't have ever gotten free dining staying in a campsite and that it would never be offered but it looks like it is in your list.
