Angie, thanks for the push of warmer weather, seems to have worked, we are supposed to get close to 70 today...


Well I have my pork roast in the slow cooker...breakfast mess cleaned up and laundry started.

I'm thinking of going out and cleaning out the inside of my car

Glad the weather cooperated, Denise! It's cooling off a bit here for the next couple of days but then warming up again. Sounds like you have been pretty ambitious today--Angie

I changed from cleaning the inside of the car to picking up doggie doo doo in the yard....a lot of it now my back and knees hurt....gosh I hate getting old....

Guess what??? we had some snow flurries today.....its cold and windy here today...back to winter jackets...
tomorrow we are supposed to be almost 70 out

Just some wonderful Chicago weather....

I'd love some good cold weather to check out how good a jacket is that I bought for NYC

I am tired of snow flurries....however, it was short lived and the next day we were close to 70 degrees.....but today only in the 50's but at least it sunny out.

Such sad and upsetting news about Boston. I pray for all the people injured and for the familes that have lost loved ones.

I actually considered that but when our weather is low 30C (about 85F) I'd look a bit weird walking into a store with a jacket

I'm also praying for those in Boston and hope they find whoever is responsible, but also preparing for a heavy rainstorm over the next day -- hoping my basement doesn't flood...

I know, looks like we are in for rain for the next few days....just hoping to get it out of its system, as I am flying out of Midway a week from today, need some nice weather in the morning.....then I dont care what happens until Monday of the following week......

My sentiments exactly, Denise! We leave for Disney on Tuesday and, as long as they're no strong winds or torrential downpours, the weather can do whatever it wants on Tuesday!

When I left on my most recent trip, we had snow the day after we arrived in Florida, and this was the second time that had happened to us. I count us lucky in that regard.

I still wish that there was warmer weather for our stay, but we had a good time, nonetheless.

I was looking at the 10 day forcast....rain the rest of this week, Sat and Sun we will get some sun and then Mon - Wednesday rain everyday.....really!! As long as we can take off on Wednesday, even if we are a little delayed, I will be ok.....
Heading to Seattle for my grandbabies 4th birthday.....looking forward to seeing her....

Thanks! It is raining like crazy here in the Chicago area now. It does look like the skies are lighting up a bit. It sure got dark here a little while ago.

Thanks! So looking forward to some Disney time. Besides the weather cooperating, I hope our little 3 year old grandson cooperates as this will be his first time going with just grandma and grandpa!

How fun.....we (my daughter and me) were going to take my grandaughter to Disney next April for her 5th birthday, but now that my daughter is having this baby in November, we have put that trip on hold, till the baby gets a little older.

I'm sure by keeping him busy he will be just fine....
