Greetings, all. Thanks very much for PixarMom and Wood Nymph for your guidance on where/how to keep an eye on my 7-year old Jib Slide rider -- it's really helpful!

A quick question as I'm using the new system for advanced Online Check-In -- there isn't an open field for typing room requests. The only options are pre-defined "check mark" boxes, and you can select 2 of three choices:

- Large balcony
- Lower floor
- Near transportation

Based on all of the helpful info you've shared in this thread, we'd like to request being close to the lobby, 2nf floor preferred. Would "near transportation" be consistent with the "close to the lobby" part of our preference, or would it be the opposite of close to the lobby?

We'll also follow up with a call to WDW to request them adding "close to the lobby" to our reservation.

I use Microsoft Word to make a grid calendar with 21 squares. I have my park hours, adr's and a note as to where we should be in the morning and evening. In the empty squares I put notes like which way the boats run between Epcot and DHS, snacks I want to try and Jack Sparrow's Cell phone number.

Hi All,

We will be staying BC CL Deluxe room March 22-26 as part of a 3 resort split stay over 2 weeks. We are now at the point where we enjoy the resorts and the"and more" attractions as much as the parks. One day, we would like to walk over to Fantasia Gardens mini golf. How long would this take to walk?

We have done the walk before and it wasn't too bad ... walked over in between Swan & Dolphin and across the road to Fantasia Gardens from The Beach Club. There were signs up around S/D pointing you to walkways you needed to take.

Walking at a moderate pace, I think it might have taken 20 minutes? It has been a couple of years so I can't say for certain but that would be my guess.

Wrong. Just the pool slide is closed... believe it is reopening shortly, though.. hopefully someone else can give you the exact date. We are here now, so you can trust me.

Jan. 16 to 25, 2013: Stormalong Bay feature pool slide will be closed for refurbishment. Stormalong Bay Pool will be open during this time. Guests can use the slide at Luna Park Pool at the Boardwalk Resort.

Yes, pool is heated. Not sure what the temp is. My understanding is that the pool is comfortable, but the issue is getting out when it is cold...

Medicgirl177... The wristband is not active yet, so we do not have confirmed answers on that one. I assume it will be waterproof. I also assume it could cause a tan line. Keep watching for more info.

Ok ths is going to seem a bit weird. But does the yaht club have no counter service? If not how far of a walk is it to beach club? Also are the 2 buildings connected in some way? We are going down in Aug and can get a good deal on the YC but the lack of CS scares me. We are mostly a CS family with a few TS meals thrown in. Wecwould be going for 12 nights.

Hi Everyone - I noticed that the scent in the BC was identified on the main page. Is the same one used at YC? We just returned and that smell is just fantastic! I'd like to purchase that system but want to be sure I'm getting the YC smell!

So, in July 2011, my family made a one day visit to MK. I didn't want to purchase the photopass CD, so I found someone on this thread who was going at the same time, and we agreed to a share.

I thought I had provided her with my address and asked her for hers so I could send a check BUT I never sent her that email.

I contacted her yesterday, and she emailed me the photos (I did have a few taken with my camera)

So excited! New pictures!!!

No counterservice at YC.

Newly opened Hurricane Hanna's is a counter service at the pool. Equally accessible from the YC and BC. There is a picture of the menu a page or two back.

2-3 minute walk between the two resorts? Does that sound right, folks?

There is a covered walkway connecting the two lobbies.

The Ale & Compass lounge sells Continental Breakfast items until 11 or noon. See the link in the Dining Section on Page 1 of this thread for more info.

EPCOT is so convenient to the Yacht & Beach Club. You may find you will be dining frequently at either the countries in the World Showcase or Sunshine Seasons if you prefer Counter Service meals.

I think it is the same, but I would hate for you to plunk down a big pile of cash for the Scentair system and be wrong.

I think Teena knows and I think she said it was the same. Post early next week when she is back from her cruise.
