TOMORROW!!! So excited I can't even see straight!

Today's going to be a lloooonnnnnnggggg day at work.

EXWDWCM - I'm in that group of people that is going to Disney World 3 times over the next 9.5 months . I started planning a trip with my fiance and best friends back in February for next September. Then March rolled around and I stared missing my late husband and daughter (they were killed by a drunk driver in 2008.) I realized I didn't want to be home for the holidays because it would be way to hard emotionally. So, I talked DF into taking a trip to Disney for Christmas. I'd never been during Christmas and I wanted to experience it. Then I got to thinking about "Well, I'm finishing college in March. I've been in school for 5 years. I want to do something to celebrate. What should we do? Oh I know! Let's go back to Disney! .

3 Disney trips in 9.5 months. My poor DF after I started making all these arrangement was like, "Um, can we NOT go to Disney in 2012?" **gasps** to keep him from NEVER letting me go ever again, I agreed. I told him we could take 2012 off but I wanted to go back in the beginning of December of 2013 for Christmasy Disney. This way we both got what we wanted. I get Disney around Christmas again. He gets a almost 2 year break from Disney and we'll be home before Christmas that year. . The art of compromise..

Wow, i am so sorry for your loss, I can't even imagine. You definitely deserve a great holiday away with DF!!! hope you enjoy it! lol at him asking you to NOT go in 2012. i guess that is a good compromise!

Poor DH lost his cousin to cancer the night before last and I felt so bad for him. They were close, the families grew up together, but we live too far away now to be able to get back for the funeral at this point. His workload is crazy (sound familiar, Katie?) and the boss is in a weird mood, I guess, so DH didn't want to ask!

DD just got accepted to her first choice college, so she's all excited and now we have to wade through the FAFSA - she's playing basketball for them, so she got a great offer - 1/2 off tuition and board, but we still have to come up with the rest - ugh.

So, sad news and exciting news. Hard to catch our breath in between - we're in the teens now, can't believe it! Really need to get organized now!!!

I have not finished packing yet!!!! My twin DDs1 go to Mommy's Day Out on T and TH so I planned on going to the DR for my sinus infection, errands and packing. Well, the Dr made me wait 1 1/2 hrs!!!! At least I got a shot and some antibiotics! I finally get to Target for some last minute supplies and the school calls to tell me one of my DDs has 102 fever. WHAT!! NOT NOW. I call the Dr to get an appt for this afternoon, get to the school, bring her home.............NO FEVER at all!!!! So, my day was pretty waisted! At least she is fine, for now.
Looks like the highs are in the 60's and low 70's. I am packing mostly pants, long and short sleeve shirts. Trying to pack lightly BUT I am up to 1 suitcase for me, 1 for DD, one for DH and one for the twins. At least we are flying SW and get to backs per ticket!
I cannot wait any longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope your girls stay healthy and well before the trip and during. when do you leave?

WE are eating here our first night- which is TOMORROW night! i can't believe it! YOu know you are a DISer when you have already picked out what you want to eat before you even get to the restaurant.

We are in our teens now and Im sad to say that Im too busy to be excited . We had someone want to buy our house, which isnt even on the market, but we were going to try to sell in the next year or two. We have since decided to sell it, so trying to find our new home, harder than we thought it would be. Then, there is work, DD11 is on travel basketball team that plays ALOT and today was her birthday. DS13 is in wrestling. DD3 is in gymnastics. OH, and both our families want us to celebrate Christmas with them before we go to WDW and DD3 also has a sleep study scheduled in another state the week before we go...it goes on and on.AHHHH, Im so glad we ar going to WDW, I just want to clear my mind of everything else and focus on this trip. Im sad to say I have NOTHING packed. I had planned to have most packed by now.
DH, who is big of a WDW fan as I am admitted to me today that he isnt excited yet either . So, heres to hoping a little exciting dust sprinkles on us this weekend.

wow you are busy, i hope the time flies by and everyone stays healthy too! hopefully you will be relaxing at WDW soon enough and leaving all that responsibility behind.

Just got done the "fear of flying" course.. it was pretty good.. wish I could have that guy as my pilot! I dont feel happy to fly still but it was nice to have some things explained and got to hear a lot of the noises that happen during flight which is what scares me most..REALLY wish I enjoyed flying! Ide be so excited right now!

2 weeks from now I will be in my car on my way to WDW!! We love driving down its half the fun of our trip.

Now if only I could get excited! Why is everything happening this year? Our business is having a rough patch which is making it hard to be excited. Then yesterday I was grooming our dog, getting him ready to go to my sisters while we are gone, and I found 2 lumps. I was in tears and upset all day. We are taking him to the vet on Monday. I swear once this trio gets here I am spending the entire time in front of the slushie stand in France LOL

yeah Vicki- only 2 weeks! Hoping your doggie is okay and that you get good news.

I am running still running, but I only work PT so no big deal. I have to take the munchkin for a haircut,dog to the groomers, bank, laundry and then I will pack my carryon.Oh and since our tree topper broke I am off to walmart for a new one.

19 hours and counting. We leave tomorrow at 4am!!! woo hoo! Can you tell we are excited???

We are all packed, house is clean, laundry done, pedis, hair cuts, etc etc. Just have to run the dogs to my mom's on my lunch break today. So taking a 'long lunch'. Hoping to get out of the office early, but we will see. I usually work untl 5pm. It's been pretty quiet as my boss is out and we've had some big meetings with lots of people in and out of those. So hoping i can sneak out early!!! wish me luck!

on the schedule for tonight, take DS to his swim class after work and pick up some fast food for dinner- probably KFC since i have a $5 credit there- and we can get some grilled chicken and veggies before we start eating crap tomorrow. and when i say 'crap', i mean it in the most loving- can't wait to inhale you chocolate butterfinger cupcake-dolewhip-kaki gori-rice krispie treats-cream cheese filled pretzels------way. let the weight gain being.

At this time tomorrow, we will be about to touch down in MCO!!!! We are heading to DTD first, lunch at EoS, shopping and my nieces BBB appt. Then checking in at BLT and heading to Epcot for the night with dinner at the new La Hacienda and hopefully get a good spot/view of Illuminations from our table!

I'm going December 28 - January 4. It will be me, my best friend, and her daughter. It is a surprise trip for the goddaughter! I can't wait to see her face! She is 3 years 8 months! She cant wait to go stay at Mickey Mosses house. She can't pronounce Mouse. its funny. We'll be staying at the Pop! Can't wait to do online check in! Now only if I can get through these last two weeks of school!

Wow everyone's trips are right around the corner!!! It's so exciting to be a part of the countdown! In 2 weeks, we will be entering Epcot for our lunch ADR at Les Chef's de France as part of our Candlelight Processional Package!! Reading abotu how busy everyone is makes me really glad I didn't change my schedule around to save a day of vacation! Instead I have the day before we leave off so I can finish up all the last minute things!! To everyone leaving today and tomorrow, Have a great trip! I'm looking forward to the trip reports!!!

all I keep doing is thinking about how I can get out of work because I cant focus! lol Work tonight.. work tomorrow AM.. competition sunday (I coach Gymnastics) and work monday night.. then have to be at the airport by 5am on Tuesday! Flight leaves at 6am but our airport is super small so I only have to be there an hr early

I will cancel all of our ADR's, except HOB, because I have a $25 gift certificate to use there, we will stay off site (heaven forbid) for the first night, and eat only CS meals, which is what we usually do on shorter trips. I have scaled us back to 3 nights instead of 5, but we will get still get 3.5 days. The Military Discount has saved us on tickets and the 2 nights at Pop, as well as a huge discount on the off-site hotel, because DH will have his ID back either next week, or the following week. We will drive down over night on Dec 22 and be at probably DHS for rope drop on Dec 23

I finally feel like celebrating Christmas again We leave in 19 days

It is hard to believe that we fly out tomorrow! I am still doing laundry, but that is ok. We have to leave the house by 5AM to get to catch our 7 AM flight. We don't live but 5 minutes from the airport, but we are parking our car at an offsite lot.

Now if the weather people can agree on temps. If I go by one site, then I don't need swim suits. Go by another site, then there is a day we could swim. I guess i will have to see how much room we have left after packing stuff for layering.

Also, need to decide if I want to take a back pack to the parks to keep the kids coats in when not needed.

As a Niagara Falls (NY) native I must say the falls covered in snow and ice is the most beautiful thing in the world! Its just magical. I hope you time to fit it in

Hi all!

5 sleeps to go .. weather slightly better today, I made it to work and the supermarket in my car... had a pretty scary moment on the way home when I slid around a corner downhill, because the brakes couldn't grip on the ice .. it was scarier than Expedition Everest ! but the car and I are fine & made it home in one piece.


After updating the ADR list with all the frequent changes.. I am now cancelling one of ours! ... the Magic Kingdom hours have changed on Sunday December 12th so the park now opens at 8am not 9am.. which means our Crystal Palace ADR at 8.05 isn't going to work now, we'll miss the 1st hour of the park being open rather than getting to get in the park early!

Not to worry... we also have a reservation at 1900 Park Fare later in the trip, so we'll still get to meet Pooh bear & Tigger there hopefully


So.. in about 2 minutes.. I'll be cancelling this ADR if anyone is looking to get it:
