Bring on the stretchy pants, it's a DDP Report, final thoughts :)

For breakfast this next morning we went to the best bakery on the planet-Mainstreet Bakery in the MK. We love this place and look forward to the food here at both DL and WDW. Now DL Paris is a real let down as their Mainstreet Bakery didn't really have anything in it compared to the US parks, just a warning for those that want to go to DL Paris. I had the bluberry muffin, what I would not do for one right now :lmao: My husband had his favorite Cinnammon Roll. Since we had our volunteer pins on, I was given a huge cupcake with Kermit the Frog on it. When I saw it I told my husband that looks sooo good, then when they handed it to me I was super excited. I had it later that evening and it was fanstastic :thumbsup2

We used 2 snack credits for breakfast and rate MS Bakery a 10 out of a 10.

Loving your reviews - your Yachtsman's Steakhouse meals look delicious and Mainstreet Bakery = breakfast heaven! :cloud9:

Looking at all your fab photos has made me really hungry so I better get dinner started before I drool all over the keyboard!

OP- I LOVE your pink Germany Epcot t-shirt! Did you buy that at WDW recently? I've never seen it before

I found it back in Oct, I didn't see it on this trip though. I love that shirt, as Germany is one of my favorite Epcot countries.

Oh, I forgot to share my margarita from the new tequila spot in Mexico. It was an avocado margarita, it was $13.00 and worth every penny. If you like guacamole, it is sooo good!!! I could only handle one, as it was almost too much of a good thing :rotfl:

Oh, my! This pic is making my mouth water! I don't know what flavor I'm going to order...might have to go for the sampler!

This was my fourth time to visit Biergarten. As always the food was fresh and very good:thumbsup2 The schintzel was a little dry, but I fixed that problem by adding plenty of gravey to it. Their sausage was sooo good this time. I even tried this white sausage you have to peel the skin off to eat it. Their pretzel bread is super yum as well. No dessert this time as I wanted to save that for the Cali Grill for dinner. The lunch is $19.99 per person and includes a drink. I would rate Biergarten 9 out of 10.

Oh, your pics of Biergarten look great. We've not been in five or six years. I just love that place. I may have to sweet talk Mark into giving up Coral Reef so we can go back to Biergarten. :)

Great pics!! What a nice thing for your birthday! I never knew about the special menu for your bday! That stinks about the tough lobster though....especially for $60!

Thanks for the great pictures and review of Biergarten. I love this kind of food, being an old PA German boy, and can't wait to try it out. My GF and I have reservations for this place right before the Monorail whisks us to the Magic Kingdom for the Very Merry Christmas Party.

My latest dining pre-trip is up, click over when you get a chance:

i am in, great reviews so far. Glad you liked Yachtman's we are staying at Beach Club in Sept and it was DS12's request for dinner. We are also doing deluxe dining and have 4 signature ADRs. :cool1:

Now moving on to the California Grill. I have to say this was my favorite meal of the trip. I loved the private escort that takes you up the elevator to some of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. We were seated in the lounge area before being taken to our table. I just could not get over the views at the place! This was a very busy restaurant, dishes clanging, people having a good time, and a very busy kitchen. To my delight we were seated in the quiet wine room with lovely views.

I was soooo excited to try their sushi for the first time and it did not disappoint. I had the spicy kazan roll and my husband had a flatbread with dried tomato and goat cheese. Both were amazing! The roll was very filling and the presentation was nice.
