WDW withdrawals so we have to go twice! **New 5/18 Pics from the storm**

Hi Tracy! I just found your PTR. I hope you don't mind if I tag along again. I really enjoyed your last TR! I think it's great that you've been able to meet so many fellow Disers on your trips.

Hi Katie!! Thank you so much for posting. I am happy you liked the TR.

We went at the end of Oct last year, and went to MNSSHP twice... just because it poured the first night.. had to go again! It's my DD and I this year, it was DS and I last year... unfortunately DH refuses to LOVE all things Disney as I do, therefore he won't ever see the faces of our children while they enjoy Disney's magic. We're going to go to MNSSHP at least once this year, definately on the 31st but maybe another night too.

Ang, isn't MNSSHP just a fun time. Seeing all the characters and guests dressed up is so exciting.

We went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party last October with a friend we brought with us. She has barely talked to us since we came back. I wonder if we should be concerned that the Ip Dippers will not want to talk to us after this trip? Are Bill and I cursed? We shall find out I guess.

I wore a Minnie Ears headband last October.

(The other woman kissing my man is Amy, we got a vague “hope you aren’t mad at me” text the other day but then nothing again. I am not going to be upset about it anymore, I can’t be.)

I thought that was about as much dressing up as I would do this trip.

I had said something to the affect of probably not dressing up if we went to MNSSHP.

Kym stated:

“ok laying down the law......

If i go to MNNSHP again this yr you will be dressing up with me got it.... that goes for you to scott”

I do believe Scott and I should take her seriously because she plays for a semi-pro football team

. She could seriously kick our butts

I did buy this, well this be enough for Kymmie?

Hey it is ORANGE, I am representing Halloween. Somehow I don’t think this is going to fly with her. Do you?

Now there has been a lot of Halloween party talk in our home. I can go the t-shirt route no problem, Bill is more adventurous. So far here are some ideas, all Bill’s.

Bill as Indiana Jones?

Here is a preview of what he might look like if he chooses this:

I adore this picture, he laughed so hard the first time he saw it, I think it is great.

Another idea:

Now if we were doing this at home I could see us trying this one, but having to assemble something at WDW? Seems a little tricky, but still a possibility.

One more idea so far:

WDW10-08111.jpg

Well not exactly the peacock, but he was thinking of having me SpectroMagic his wheelchair. We have been looking at lights online. This cracks me up, he would really have fun with it.

What do you think? Any more ideas for us, I welcome them.

Next installment…do I get crafty for this trip or not?

OMG Tracy that picture of Bill as Indiana is fantastic, so clever, I think that would be a good look for him!!! I also love the lights idea :thumbsup2

Sorry you haven't spoken to Amy

First of all...YOU HAVE TO DRESS UP! Now that we have gotten THAT out of the way!!

You guys are not speaking much to Amy? How sad. :( That makes me sad! :(

I don't know Kym...but :cheer2: GO KYM!! :cheer2:

Uh...

Oh my gosh!!! This would be so fun, too!!!

One thing on this...We did a "Blue Man" deal with Lauren's powerchair for a Youth Choir concert. I will have to find a picture for you...

But basically she had her whole wheelchair outlined with this LED light that was blue. It blinked or was solid turned on. I was able, with black electric tape, to write a big XA (XA is for Chi Alpha, the name of her Youth Choir) on the back of her wheelchair by simply putting black tape over the parts of the LED light rope that I did not want to actually show. We "traced" her whole wheelchair with the blue light so that her wheelchair lit up. I will find a video or something to show you.

You could buy multiple colors of LED lights and totally outline his chair. Oh this would be so fun. I wish I could BE there! And help you do it!

I might even still have that strip of LED light... hmm....

But my favorite idea is the Wall-E. You could make it and ship it to yourself at Disney. I am thinking a big box, painted with a bronze paint...oh...how fun that would be!!!!!! :)

I like the spectro idea.

Great ideas Tracy! I think either Wall-E or Spectro would be fantastic! :thumbsup2

Sorry about how things have been with Amy... :sad1:

Sorry you haven't spoken to Amy

Thanks Jo. We tried to give her a trip to remember, I asked her all the time to speak up about the things she wanted to do. She still says it was one of the best trips she has ever had. Bill is just really hurt by her behavior.

I am selfish, I want him to be Indy, because then he could let his stubble grow out a bit. I like that look on him .

First of all...YOU HAVE TO DRESS UP! Now that we have gotten THAT out of the way!!

WHY? :rotfl:

You guys are not speaking much to Amy? How sad. :( That makes me sad! :(

Makes me really sad. We knew she would never be able to make it to Disney on her own, all she had to pay for was her part of the room and the dining, we paid for the airline, her park tickets, and the tips. I didn't mind doing it at all I wanted to spread the pixie dust, I wanted to see the magic happen to someone that has never been before, but for her to essentially stop speaking to us after the trip, is very hard to accept.

I do know one of her friends died not to long after we came home, so I can understand her being sad, but she was one of Bill's best friends, it just hurts to see him hurt :sad1: :sad1:

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you happen to remember where you got the lights from?

I got your mind to thinking didn't I? :rotfl2:

I like the spectro idea.

Hello, I am so torn I like that idea too.

I agree. I think it would be very unique and you would probably get lots of attention for it.

Well Bill loves attention, so he might just pick that.

Great ideas Tracy! I think either Wall-E or Spectro would be fantastic! :thumbsup2

Sorry about how things have been with Amy... :sad1:

Thanks Amy, just when I think I am past the situation with her, we get a text saying hi and she is sorry she hasn't been around and she will come by soon. Now I see it and thing blah blah blah, whatever, but it hurts Bill's feelings.

No - I don't think the t-shirt is gonna fly. ;)

Indiana Bill!!! Love it!!! :thumbsup2

I love the lights on the chair representing Spectro idea! :goodvibes

I like Indiana Bill too :thumbsup2, but I do think the Spectro thing would be really neat. I even have the music on my phone :lmao:.

I love your signature now!!

I meant I liked the picture of Indiana Bill and I agree that Spectro would be very cool, and probably very original.

Thanks! I do too. :goodvibes People here on the Dis are so talented.

Hello, I am so torn I like that idea too.

I was just thinking as I was reading, "Gosh! I love the Wall-E idea and the Spectro idea equally!"

....but, the big question is.... what would your matching costume be???
('Cuz, you've got to match, you know!!)

You could make an EVE costume, but somehow, I just don't see you in an electrified t-shirt!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Kathy

Kathy

I was thinking Indiana Jones riding on a Spectro float :lmao:.

Oh no NOT matching :scared1:. He has been calling me Eva (how Walle says Eve) for 3 days, he is a nut. I think I would do the light shirt before walking around like a huge oval. Although it wouldn't be much of a stretch for me, would it?

Lauren said you could be Eva...

Which I think someone has already said. But she knows how to "make" it... I have never seen the move...so I don't know. But she said that her friend wore a short sleeved white T shirt that has a pocket and some sort of "leaf" sticker? And she had a glow stick in her shirt pocket right behind the leaf.

I don't know what she is talking about, honestly.

But I love the WallE idea!

Spectro would be cool, too...but it would be harder to "do it right"...you know what I mean?

The blue light...was purchased by our church. They bought several...I can find out where they got them, if you are interested. Let me find a picture, though, of what it looked like on Lauren's chair. :)

*update - I can't find a picture. I actually sort of have one, but it has a bunch of teenagers in it and I don't have permission to post it...and it isn't that good anyway...but let me know if you want to see it and I can show it to you. And I think it is expensive stuff.

waleeeve.jpg

Tracy Dear, you don't have to be so literal in the translation!! It's not necessary to get the exact shape right...just get the general "feel" of the character with the colors.

What I mean is, this could be the easiest costume, EVER!!

Just wear something very comfortable in all white. Put a white knit hat on your head. Take a black mask such as you can get in any party store, paint blue around the eye holes and there you go! Instant Eve!!! :thumbsup2

I had to pick myself up off the floor. You have NEVER seen WallE??? What is up with that??? I am shocked. That is a cute idea, I will think about that one.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble could you ask where they got the lights? Bill is really liking this idea.

That is ok, but thanks for thinking of us.

:rotfl: Yes it would be a really easy costume. You are great at this costume stuff, it has been forever since I had to think about this stuff.

I know. I know. :sad2:

I will add it to the Disney movies I have never watched list! I just watched Cinderella recently... I have a lot of catching up to do!

I will ask about the rope light! :)

I don't mean to brag, but I once made myself into a giant Hershey's Kiss using a hula hoop, a green garbage bag, and a couple of rolls of aluminum foil. Ed still laughs about that one!

And Kathy...

We want pictures! ::yes::
