I love this post by Mark Zuckerberg in response to someone wanting their daughter to date a nerd. He has come a long way from creating Facebook, partially to rate coeds. Becoming a dad of daughters can do that to you.
While thousands shared the post and many commented that he’d inspired them to come up with their own tech challenges, one particular comment elicited a response from the man himself.
A grandmother wrote: ‘I keep telling my grand daughters to date the nerd in school, he may turn out to be a Mark Zuckerberg! Thanks for FB, I’ve reconnected with family and many old friends and classmates.’
Zuckerberg replied: ‘Even better would be to encourage them to *be* the nerd in their school so they can be the next successful inventor!’
