Zootopia had soft opening tonight 11/5 and we saw it!!

We got to see it in a preview over the weekend and really enjoyed it. Really cute! Probably not an every visit stop for us, but would definitely go again.

We had AK planned for Sun Nov 2 and were oblivious. At 8am we realized we were eligible for Zootopia’s 7am VQ. When we walked past the attraction around 9:30am we asked about the 1pm VQ and were told that was CMs only, and then they let us in to the next show!
The Disney magic 😊 and a big dollop of pixie dust :tink:

It seemed there were a couple dozen empty seats at that showing, so they let us in :)

I’m beginning to think you aren’t talking about Zootopia 2 the movie that comes out in 3 weeks

Yes, there’s a Zootopia: Better Together attraction that has replaced Bug’s Life at AK.

Bug’s Life, located in the Tree of Life, closed in March.

The new show celebrates "Zoo Together Day," a city-wide celebration of unity in Zootopia.

It officially opens tomorrow.

Was not impressed with zootopia. Backround sound was so loud, that you could not here or understand what the characters were saying. Kind of short and I had no idea what the story line was. I think childeren will enjoy it, but as for adults. One and done. Maybe they will get all the bugs worked out as I attended the passholder preview. Tough to be a bug was a classic.

Saw it last night and they must have addressed the sound issue because we heard it perfectly.

My dh and I really liked it. We read reviews about it from AP previews and went in with little expectation.

It was cute. So many wrote that there was less sensory input, but I disagree on that. There is definitely less scare factor, in fact nothing about it was scary. But there are definitely surprises which would have been a lot of sensory input for my autistic son when he was younger.
