Zhu Zhu pets question

Ok so I managed to get the 3 pack of them at TRU but of course the accesories are all sold out as well.

SO I want if anyone has one that they have opened? Would they work at all with regular (live) hamster toys like the balls and tubes and such? I know it isnt the same but it might work if they were the right size, right?

Anyone know?

Theres a ginormus thread on the budget board about the pets - you should wander over there .

the word is that the hamster balls will work somewhat - the hamsters turn over but you have to right it sometimes -they said its the same in the one that the company made as well - don't know anything about the tubes or antyhing.

I asked an assessory question like this in that big thread on the Budget Board and no one answered me. It's mostly to vent about not finding the little buggers or to say where you scored them.

My question was if I already have the hamster, can my daughter survive with just the ball/surf board and the funhouse or do I need to buy more assessories to get that ball and funhouse to work properly. I'm hoping they work on their own cause I don't want to go crazy with too many assessories.

Luvmy. thanks I aprpeciate the answer. I havent gotten them yet so I dont know how big they are, if theyre close to the same size as a regular hampster then it should work, the tubes and such. Seems silly if it they do fit to pay a lot of money (if you have to get them off ebay or something) when you could go to Petsmart of Walmart and get the real stuff

So another friend just said that they do in fact work in the regular hampster balls and that the stuff that comes wit them are not very durable so maybe we are better off doing it that way. She also said that sense the sensors are in the nose it should work with most hampster stuff so thats good news.

BTW, my TRU had a ton of accesories if anyone was looking!
