ZHU ZHU PETS at CVS this morning

Happen to be at CVS this morning when they were unloading them. Got my girls another one and the car and some carriers. They said they thought all the CVS were getting them.

After seeing this, I ran up to our CVS near Buffalo, NY and they had them. After looking them over carefully, I decided dd would not be getting these for Christmas. She isn't dying for them, just mentioned that she might like them. These are cheaply made and would get played with for all of two minutes then set aside.

What was I thinking- we have three real hamsters at our house, why would I go out and buy fake ones?

I do appreciate the tip though, I was very excited to go check them out.

I saw this and went running out to our CVS. Not only did they not have them, the people working there had never heard of them. It's not an easy thing to explain to someone who has never heard of them. They thought I was nuts.

Thanks for the tip, though. I will add CVS to my list of places to check for the little critters. I've already gotten a couple, so anything else is gravy at this point anyway.

I am so grateful that you posted this. I had been looking at the ones that they were selling online for about $60 each - ridiculous. My SIL checked at 3 CVS's on the way to Thanksgiving dinner and 2 had no idea what she was talking about. One told her that they were putting them out at midnight but they had beds and carriers. So I went back at midnight and got 4 hamsters. Thank you so much for the info since this was unadvertised.
