Yup another Memory Maker Question

Sorry, I know there are a million Memory Maker questions out there and there is probably an answer to my question but I looked at a couple MM posts and didn't see it.

I am not yet convinced that MM is worth it for us. We are a family of 3, staying for 5 days, going to 4 parks. Doing a couple character dinings but not much on the rides.

Here's the deal, I don't know that we are going to need a lot of prints- maybe 5 or 6 I guess. If we don't get MM will we still get the same number of pictures taken at the character events, etc as if we had bought the MM? And then how do we select the pictures we want, can we view them when we get home and then just pick the ones we want to download/print?

If you won't buy 11+, it is not a value for you. You will still have the same number of pictures taken and can still look at them later and decide which (if any) to download at a price of (I think) $15 each.

Character meet and greets, where you stand in line to meet someone, is where the photographer will take a bunch of shots - both of you chatting/interacting with the character and when you're posed for a shot. At character meals, you need to use your own camera anyway - no photopass photographer for those shots as the characters come by your table one at a time. Exceptions are at Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus where you pose with a princess prior to being seated, or Chef Mickey where you stand with a Chef Mickey statue and have a photographer take that pic for you. (I think this may be true with Donald at Tusker house too, and some kind of backdrop shot at O'Hana, but not sure)

That was helpful, I didn't realize the character dining didn't have a photographer, and we are doing Chef Mickey but I don't care to have a picture taken with a statue. I appreciate that info.
