Yummy food questions

1) I know that Lobster is available to night of the Captain's gala, but I thought I read that it is available another night as well. I can't seem to find it on Dave's site. Does anyone know? I am trying to guess which night to book Palos, but don't want to go on a lobster night.

2) I believe I read that Topsiders, Plutos, etc. are open for lunch, and also that Lumineres is open for lunch. I would assume that most people would prefer a sit-down lunch, so doesn't Lumineres get too busy? Do you need to arrive early and stand in line? Is lunch always at Lumineres, or does it switch around through the 3 restaurants?

3) Is it possible to get something from another restaurant, if you ask nicely? : ) Let's say you fall in love with the Coconut Shrimp and want to have it at Lumineres... can you ask your server?

Don't know about the answer to your lobster question -- maybe someone else does.

As for lunch, I seem to remember that you could get a sit-down lunch at any of the restaurants and the times for lunch are printed on your Navigator. We always went to Topsiders for the wonderful themed lunch buffets. I think Topsiders has longer lunch times too, as opposed to a more limited lunch time for the restaurants.

I actually liked the lunch at Topsiders better than the sit down lunch. Much larger selection. The only other one we liked was the seafood buffet at Parrot Cay. Now that was good! Anita.

We were on the 8/3 7-day and they only had lobster one night (captain gala's), but it was good! This is also the same night as the wonderful chocolate lava cake, and in answering to your other question, yes, if u ask ur server for something from another restaurant or a previous night, it is possible that they will be able to bring it to you. I'm not sure if it works for everything, but our entire table fell in love with the lava cake, and so the server said they could bring it to us the following night (now that i have read it is loaded with calories not so sure if we should have, but hey we were on vacation ) I do remember others asking for certian items from a diff. night, and they tried their hardest to accomodate.

Your other question about lunch, well, we thought everyone would prefer a sit down lunch, but were surprised that everytime we went, it was quite empty, not very crowded, and i dont recall it ever being served at animator's, so it was usually lumiere's, but parrot cay would often be open for a lunch buffet. hope this helps.

Animator's Pallate is where they feed lunch to the kids in the clubs. That's why it's not open for lunch.

Lunch at Lumiere's is generally not very busy --- seems like most people like the more casual buffets.

Lobster -- possibly you were thinking of it being available at the adult beach on castaway cay?

That might have been where it was. I will definitely make a note not to miss lunch at the Adult's area!!!!
