So I have decided that since this is vacation, it is time to splurge a little in the calorie department! I'm not a huge fan of sweets...but I do enjoy a good dessert every now and then! From my post yesterday, I have decided not to get dessert when we go to 'ohana since we will be so stuffed.
We will definately be going to Beaches n Cream one night as well...but are there any other desserts out there that are absolutely not to be missed?
I have also heard a lot of good things about the creme brulee in disney...whats your favorite flavor and where can I find it? I'm a HUGE fan of creme brulee!!

I love creme brulee too and I noticed that Le Cellier has a maple creme brulee that I will be trying. Also I like the cloudberry horn at the Norway Bakery and the chocolate mousse at Wonderland Cafe at DQ.. Frozen bananas off ice cream carts... Wow, I am going to have to swim laps at night when we get back to our resort...

mmm frozen bananas! yes, i'll be swimming right with you!
since we only have 2 weeks till we leave, i told myself that i MUST eat healthy now so that i can splurge later!
:flower:

Oh, I love creme brulee too!! Someone told me Fultons has a milk chocolate one, and I saw a banana-carmel at Kona. I am also one for the frozen bananas. How about the fresh cookie ice cream sandwiches on Main St? Pastries in France top my list (Get the Elephant Ear or the coconut pyramid or ohhh I know, the Napoleon maybe that is my favorite) I had an awesome creme brulee at California grill. Wow, I am hungry now. :rotfl:

The Sticky Toffee Pudding at Rose & Crowne in Epcot is fantastic!! We will definitely order it next time we go to WDW.

If you're going while the happiest celebration desserts are still on the menu, and you like chocolate and orange, be sure and try one! The mousse at Brown Derby was INCREDIBLE! i also loved the Macadamia Nut Cheesecake at Yachtsman!

Don't miss the incredible pastries in france at the bakery!

Coffee creme brulee in the Coffee Two Ways dessert @ artist point. best dessert in disney.

Hey everyone! my family's annual trip to Disney is about 2 wks away now and i have a big DESSERT question! We're planning on getting THE KITCHEN SINK dessert at BEACHES N CREAM this time around. Has anyone had it? Could you tell me about it? thoughts?.... :wizard:

I have not had but I have seen it and it is HUGE :earseek: but it looks good. I believe if you go to the travel channel.com and go to the section on wdw they have a link to the different resorts(beach club) ...sam brown did a clip on it and they show you how they make it and what not..I'll see if I can find the link!

The dole whip, duh! My favorite...the deal is the hubby gets a turkey leg as long as I can have my dole whip from adventureland. The funny thing...I seem to remember them being made with orange juice once upon a time....or am I crazy?

It's pretty basic, but the ice cream cookie sandwich at the Bakery of Main St. in MK is incredible and a classic! It's two huge Nestle chocolate chip cookies that they put three scoops of vanilla bean ice cream between! YUM!

I'd definitely hit the bakery in France (ask for a bag and you can take all the goodies back to the hotel!). My fave dessert on my last trip was some kind of chocolate mouse fudge cake at the Boardwalk Bakery. YUM!

I've never had the Kitchen Sink but look forward to having it one day!! If you look at the sticky post re: Photos of Disney Food you will see several pictures of the Kitchen Sink. There is a picture right on the first page. It looks so good!!

Can anyone here tell me about the different pastries and desserts they have at the Tangierine Cafe?

you can check on the menus on allears.net for the desserts served at the different restaurants. Also may I reccomend looking through the sticky thread at the top of the page that has the pictures of desserts. There are a lot of different types of creme brulee and it will tell you what kind it is an where to get it!

Can anyone direct me to the best place to find a frozen banana??? I've never noticed where the carts are that sell them, and it sounds so yummy!

The fudge on Main Street is pretty good. I like the white fudge with pecans. Beware, it's rich! Make sure you get some coffee or milk to go with it.

But THE best one, without a doubt, is the Kona Chocolate souffle at Victoria and Albert's.

we loved the creme brulee at the Chef's de france in Epcot,
Boma's had an assortment of really great ones, especialy the banana bread pudding.
We loved the trifle at the high tea at GF.

The chocolate cookie milkshake at Brown Derby ( off the kids menu) is fantastic! I was going to try to get one to go when we go in oct.

I have decided to run 10 miles every day and swim 50 laps in order to have dessert 3 times a day while in WDW. I even plan to get dessert for my appetizer, main course, and dessert.

I swear everything sounds so yummmy, i'm going to be in a sugar coma by the 3rd day!!!!! :rotfl2:
