Well, I can't get Yuengling beer where I live. I've been told it is very good. So I figured I would try and pick up a case or two to bring back with me from Florida. But I don't know where to get it from and I don't want to be on some crazy search and rescue mission trying to find it.

Anybody know a package store that carries it that would be located close to the AKL

Pretty much any Publix will have Yuengling

Don't know what varieties of Yuengling they carry in Florida, but I'm guessing they will have their Traditional Lager. If they have other varieties (Premium, Light, etc.) skip them, and only get their original "Traditional Lager."

Trust me, I've lived my whole life between 30-60 minutes of the brewery, and, in College, visited the brewery multiple times. While I'm a big fan of theirs, their Lager is really their best offering. Although the Black & Tan isn't too bad, either.

I don't think it's good enough to go to any extra effort to track it down. But that's just me....

It is very good! We live in area that doesn't have it either and we went through 24 of them on our last trip in March/April. All the groceries and package stores seemed to have it.

Have a great time, and drink for me! ;)

We can't get it in Ohio either so we make the 2 hour drive to Pittsburgh and smuggle it back here. It's best on tap though, but that's a little harder to transport. ;)

To the best of my knowledge, it's made in PA and FL. I would expect it to be distributed throughout those states. It's good but not the be all end all of beer.

We like it, but maybe it's good marketing on their part to limit where they distribute it because there's something alluring about not being able to get it when you decide you do want it. Lol.

We have family on the east coast and always bring some back when we visit. (driving of course). It's a tradition. :)

One of my friends in in PA ever other weekend and they often bring back cases.

The Black & Tan is the only other one I like.

Before they started distributing it to NY. I use to bring a case home when I would see my cousins. Not a big beer drinker but I liked it and the distrubtor by my house told me before they distributed to NY, people would ask him for it. For some reason one of the few beers that doesn't give me acid attack.

We discovered this by accident last year when a co-worker brought some back from PA and grabbed the wrong kind. We ended up really liking it!

I'd talk to your grocery manager back home and see if they can get it ordered for your store. My mother has had some experience getting her grocery to start supplying things she wants. Good luck!

I can't get Yuengling here in Connecticut either, but I have a co-worker who visits Maryland and brings me a case when he goes, my brother travels to upsate NY for work and he brings me a case every month or so, and another friend brings me a case whenever she travels. Between the 3 of them I always have some Yuengling on ice!

I would say that is a very accurate statement. Yuengling is not a beer I would rave about.

I'm not much of a beer drinker but I do like Yeungling. Like other posters I prefer the Black and Tan.

Yuengling is one of the things I miss about living in the Philly area.

One of my co-workers loves it and everytime I go down to Philly I have to bring him a case or two back. He calls me his "dealer".
