You've got to be kidding me with these hours!

Agreed. I am heading in September and right now it's 9 across the board (except for Epcot on Friday/Saturday, but I'm not dealing with those F&W evening crowds). I would really hope they extend to 10 for MK to ensure we get to see Once Upon a Time! Also, an evening EMH at AK (or extending to 10) would be very much appreciated to really see Pandora at night after ROL. But with the CM hour cutbacks, I'm not holding my breath!

We are being squeezed, people. These restricted hours mean that more people are being squeezed into less park hours. The year-round crowds at Disney mean billions of dollars in profits for the parks division. But enough is never enough for this company. The parks are rolling in dough; instead of being satisfied with that, they are racking their brains trying to figure out new ways of killing the golden goose.

Disney can be flexible. I have been several times when CMs have told people that the park was staying open later than posted because it was more crowded than they expected.

True for some people. But others mentioned that they don't even want to go to the parks before 5:00, because of the brutal heat. For non-rope drop people, having the parks open later is their best option.

That's us! We like to spend the day at the pool and go late. We are not morning people at all. I will definitely miss being in MK at midnight.

Me too but unfortunately this did not seem to be happening this summer, as far as we could tell (July 18 -30).
