You've been married 25 years, what are you going to do now? Go to Disney World!

Friday morning found us anxiously waiting for rope drop at the Studios, ready to make that "mad dash" to TSM,

DSCF6188-1.jpg

there was no opening skit this morning, I wonder if it is gone for good?

After aquiring those coveted fast passes for TSM we made our way back to our favorite, TOT,

DSCF6192.jpg

the new additions are pretty neat, makes it a bit more interesting.

DSCF6195.jpg

From there we went to RNR of course, the standby line was already 40 minutes so we decided to give the single rider line a try, BIG mistake, seems like all the parties were even numbers and we waited forever to ride seperately. I'm not sure how I managed to do it but I stumbled getting into the limo and hit my shin, it really hurt but I was sitting with a stranger so I just sucked it up and went for the ride, afterwards I met up with Grumpy and limped over to first aid, I had a knot the size of a golf ball on my shin with a hole in the middle.
The nurse in first aid was great and fixed me up with an ice pack that I wore walking around the park for the next half hour.

When it was time or TSM I challenged Grumpy, neither of these scores are anything to brag about but at least mine was higher than Grumpys!

We had lunch reservations at T Rex in DTD so we made our way over, I love these birds outside of Rainorest Cafe,

DSCF6200.jpg

DSCF6199.jpg

And how cool would it be to have your birthday party at Goofy's Candy store?

DSCF6205.jpg

We were early arriving at T Rex but they were able to seat us right away,

DSCF6206.jpg

The portions here are huge so we opted to order one appetizer and entree and share, it turned out to be more than enough,

We love nachos so that was the obvious choice for an appetizer,

DSCF6210.jpg

And Grumpy requested this restaurant just for the ribs so that's what we had,

DSCF6211.jpg

If you don't like noise this definitely wouldn't be a good choice but we really like it here.

DSCF6208.jpg

This was the day that Bonnie passed through the Miami area, we made it back to the resort just in time to escape the showers she brought through,

Enjoying your trip report!

They did the opening ceremony the two days we did DHS.:confused3

Sorry about your injury. Ouch!

Congrats on Toy Story Mania. You're a better animal than DH too.

Nice pictures!!! Love the ones of our guys by the pool! Sorry about your leg.

We were at Epcot when that rain came down. We hid in China.

Well, my intentions for a live report went out the window, we just got caught up in our trip, sorry.

We headed back to the Magic Kingdom for the evening, here's one of my favorite views of the castle,

DSCF6216-1.jpg

We staked out a spot for MSEP early and had a good view, here's a shot of the crowds in frontierland,

DSCF6218-1.jpg

The first float in the parade is Tink,

DSCF6227-1.jpg

These aren't the best pictures in the world, but I'll share them anyway

One final parade shot,

DSCF6273.jpg

After the parade we made our way over to the hub for the fireworks, I didn't take many pictures as the little camera isn't the greatest for them,

DSCF6276.jpg

I have to agree with many others, I prefer Wishes to this show, this one reminded me a lot of the fireworks for the Pirate and Princess party, it just didn't have the same Disney "feel" as Wishes. Grumpy really liked the part when they blew up the castle though

After the fireworks we called it a night and fought the masses to exit the park.

The next morning it was time to visit AK, our first stop was EE for fastpasses, I stayed and watched the monkeys while Grumpy went to get them. The monkeys weren't very active, I'm sure it was due to the heat,

DSCF6280.jpg

From there we went to see some bugs,

DSCF6283.jpg

DSCF6286.jpg

DSCF6294.jpg

Love the expression on Grumpy's face,

DSCF6299.jpg

This was the loudest TTBAB show we've ever been in, tons of scared, screaming kids.

DSCF6301.jpg

Here's our snacks we had at AK, I decided to try the jalepeno cream cheese pretzel, I give it a :thumbsup2

DSCF6302.jpg

We got a couple of drinks and took a break down by the water at Flame Tree,

DSCF6303.jpg

Grumpy gave an Ice Cream Cookie sandwich a try, he didn't say much about it, but he ate every bite,

DSCF6306.jpg

There were several tour groups in the park this morning, I really liked this groups back packs,

DSCF6307.jpg

After snack time it was time to use our fastpasses for EE, here's our really bad redneck picture,

DSCF6308.jpg

The heat in this park was extremely intense so it was definitely time to head back and take a break, before going offsite to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch,

DSCF6311.jpg

I've read many great reviews about Sweet Tomatoes, while it was good, we didn't find it to be anything we would go out of our way for.

I left out the reason we returned to MK the previous night, it was to pick up my anniversary present. During our November 2009 trip we watched Brandon from Arribas hand blow a Mickey vase, it was very interesting and I thougt about it a lot and decided I would like to have a hand blown vase myself, when we finally caught up with Brandon I talked to him about making the Mickey vase in blue instead of red, come to find out he has the buttons pre made and only has them in yellow, I decided to go with a blue and white vase to match my dining room, so here it is my Brandon Price original,

DSCF6313.jpg

After our early dinner/ late lunch at Sweet Tomatoes we went to Studios for the Rock N Glow party, I don't have any pictures but I'm sure our first stop was the Tower, here's Goofy out dancing with the crowd,

DSCF6315.jpg

This is PJ the DJ,

DSCF6317.jpg

And we really enjoyed Mulch, Sweat, and Shears, so much so that we came back for two more sets,

DSCF6318.jpg

Blinking Mickey balloons,

DSCF6321.jpg

I love Muppet Vision, but I do think it's time to update this one,

DSCF6322.jpg

Lighting and Mater looked like they needed some company,

DSCF6326.jpg

It was time to head back to the resort as we had an early morning breakfast at Cape May.

Now Grumpy prefers to park our vehicle and use Disney transportation so that meant we would be headed back to Studios to catch the boat to the Yacht Club, it was very quiet at Studios,

DSCF6329.jpg

DSCF6330.jpg

DSCF6331.jpg

I read a trip report on here, and the author would randomly throw in one of these,

DSCF6332.jpg

With the caption, "Squirrel", I loved it!

Beautiful!!!! What a wonderful way to celebrate your 25TH!!!

Muppets was just down when I was there in May to make it digital. I don't think they will be updated it any time too soon.

We came across Lightning and Mator all alone too.

We were pretty early but we went ahead and walked down to the boat dock, while we were waiting one of the bus drivers walked over and asked us if we were waiting for the boat, we said yes and he said that it was going to be quite a while before the boats started running and and asked us to meet him at bus stop six, he had a VIP bus there and took us and another family over to the Yacht Club, we were over anhour early but checked in anyway, we were seated in under 5 minutes.

Here's my first plate,

DSCF6333.jpg

and Grumpy's

DSCF6334.jpg

My favorite, fresh fruit,

DSCF6342.jpg

Grumpy was at the buffet when Donald came around so he had a seat to wait,

DSCF6335.jpg

Grumpy made it back in time to meet Donald,

DSCF6336.jpg

Minnie,

DSCF6338.jpg

And Goofy,

DSCF6340.jpg

Mickey never did make it around, as we were leaving Donald was visiting with a little girl and we heard her ask, "When is Mickey coming?", no wonder Donald gets upset all the time. :lmao:

From Yacht Club it is just a short walk to Epcot, and a good way to walk off some of the breakfast we had just had,

DSCF6344.jpg

These pictures are deceiving, WS wasn't open yet so the crowds were still in Future World,

DSCF6345.jpg

Our first stop was for fastpasses for Soarin, I caught a picture of the Tron-o-rail, I like the way it looks,

DSCF6347.jpg

Finding Nemo is a great way to cool off while passing time so we stopped in there for a while, the jellyfish looked cool,

DSCF6354.jpg

We stopped in to chat with crush, my pictures didn't come out very well, Grumpy is still going around saying, "Cha" :rotfl:

DSCF6357.jpg

Another attempt at self portraits,

DSCF6358.jpg

We spent some more time exploring Future World, rode Soaring -Concourse B row 1 - Yeah! Did the single rider line for Test Track, which worked much better than the single rider line for RNR, and decided it was time to go back and cool off at the resort, we had our own private bus,

DSCF6360.jpg

I'm trying to remember exactly what we did that evening, since I don't have any pictures I'm pretty sure we went offsite for dinner and ended up at Sizzler, while it wasn't horrible I can't recommend this one, when trying restaurants we group them in the following categories, Great = we'll definitely be back, OK = we will consider coming back, Maybe = we probably won't be back, and No = we definitely won't be back, this one ranked at maybe, and with so many other choices out there chances are very slim that we'll go back. After dinner we had drinks by the pool and just relaxed, the following morning were EMH at Studios, and we had a Tower to conquer (we're self proclaimed Tower-Maniacs)

We timed it perfectly for the bus Monday morning, and once again we had a private bus,

DSCF6396.jpg

Since our timing was great for the bus we were at the front for rope drop,

DSCF6362.jpg

DSCF6363.jpg

We had decided to skip the Toy Story Mania run, and head to our favorite, first stop would be RNR fastpass and then ride TOT as many times as we could before the crowds showed up, you can see by this picture that most of the crowds headed straight for TSM,

DSCF6364.jpg

We were able to ride TOT four times in under an hour,

DSCF6365.jpg

DSCF6366.jpg

Here's another redneck picture, I don't feel bad about taking them, I have a huge collection of pictures that I have purchased,
