I usually end up watching funny animal videos, bonus if they're set to music. I also get sucked into special effects/optical illusion makeup videos (the painted skin ones, not the ones with all the prosthetics).

I've clearly got to get out more, because I had no idea any of this even existed. Until I read this I wasn't sure what the previous poster was even talking about.

Apparently there's a whole world out there I had no idea even existed.

I do like to see if there are any videos of rooms at any resorts or hotels where we're either considering or have booked rooms. Seems easier to get a more accurate idea of what the place is like from a video than pictures alone sometimes.

I like watching comparing videos of different Broadway songs. I ended up watching a video of Javert from Les Mis. I liked one of the singers so much that I looked him up. I found out he does a lot of work in Europe. I ended up liking one of the songs a lot and would listen to it occasionally. Finally a video of that song popped up with a different singer. Had no clue it was from an actual full length musical. Ended up watching a bootleg of that show and I am now officially hooked on German musicals. I even have my kids hooked. Sadly it is an expensive habit, so I have to limit my purchases.

I once got sucked into a wormhole for two hours watching a guy taking down giant beehives from different structures....houses, barns, sheds, trees, trucks, etc. It was fascinating!!!

I recently got into watching tiny house videos a few times. Downsizing feels tempting but that might be a bit too much. Maybe.
