You're the best parents in the world! I gotta pee! Where's My Tooth? Trip report!

Yep, I just found that info. Here is a copy of part of the article

However, in 2004 a green wall went up around the lagoon, and in July it was drained and demolition began. The coral, the sets, and most of the animatronics within the lagoon and caverns were smashed to bits, although many items were saved by Disney employees, such as the sharks, one of the squids, a viking ship, and the serpent's heads. Demolition continued throughout the remainder of the year, as the lagoon was leveled off, filled in with dirt, and concreted over. Large amounts of Foliage began to be added, and in mid 2005 a rather small playground called 'Pooh's Playful Spot' was opened. Most of the large area that was 20k was simply covered by foliage. 20K was not completely forgotten though—the designers put a small, barely noticable green knot above the door to Pooh's house which resembles the Nautilus!

last time I was there in 2001 it was still a lagoon w/ a fence around it; I knew it was not there this last time...
fun researching it and talking about it:cutie:

Here is an idea Lisa. Get your hair cut at the MK barber shop. They can cut your hair like you like it and it would be a great memory. Tyler had his cut there in May and they did a great job. You don't have to have an appointment either. Tyler walked up, and even though there was a line, he was finished pretty quickly.

In my previous live I was a cosmetologist and some of the barbers I knew where better at cutting women's hair than other cosmetologist I knew.

I can't believe you are so close to leaving. I am jealous.

I know I was there in 1999, and 97 and one of those years I sttod by the fence and looked at it. It was so creepy looking. It kind of gave me chills. I can't beleive they let it stand like that for so long.

I also am a cosmetologist. Just haven't worked since I had Claire. Just cut my sons hair last night and tonight I'm doing my dads! LOL! I will come down and cut it if you take me along to Disney! :thumbsup2

Hey, Lisa! Good Morning. I hope the ghosts don't have to many nicotine fits today and your headaches will stay away!

Ok, so I am busy (very) finishing up my Epcot day and I have missed like 20 posts. You girls have to slow down when I'm working. I don't even know where to begin. I have your email address Lisa. I'll get with you on addresses after you return from the World so I can send you some wine. I would just flip if my hairdresser changed on me. Believe it or not I am way picky on my haircut.

It is now finally time to go home. So the boss is back tomorrow who knows what I will get done for him. Not much if it gets in the way of my Dis. Love you girls.

Ginny

I read your Epcot day and loved it. Ya'll are just so much fun.

John asked me last night if I took you up on your offer for the wine. I told him absolutely.

Hope you day (with the boss back) is going well.

Thats a really cool link....but I'm pretty sure the lagoon is gone. I think thats grass. Other stuff that looks like it is grass, because stuff is sitting on it. And the 200 leagues was closer to the main area. I think either where Ariels Grotto is or where Poohs playground is. I'm pretty sure I had read they filled it in. DL did something with theres a few years ago. I forget the theme..nemo Ariel? Something under the water. LOL! But I think I had read WDW couldn't because they had filled it in.
I's really cool to see the back stage stuff though. I'm gonna spend too much time looking at that map now. LOL!

Thanks for the information and the links. I'm going to check them out. Like I have sooo much time on my hands.:rolleyes1

Oooooh! I can't wait to try that in September!

Doesn't that sound like the coolest?!?

Wow. You guys are quiet to far today.

I have to get ready to go meet Will's teacher, but I wanted to stop in and say hi,

Connie, those aerial pictures are really cool. Thanks! :)

I'll be back later.

I will wait and send when you get back from your trip to the World. It can be a late anniversary present.

So far so good today. I have to do all that quarterly tax. UGH. I keep forgetting my passwords. I am a moron. Have a good day.

Look at your siggie. So close.

Ok, stuff I forgot in my last post (how can I be so forgetful at 36?)
I liked your funny church stories.
Can you tell me where exactly is the rest room by peter pan? I tried to look for it last year but was too in a hurry to find one that I went in the ones by pinocchio counter service. In fact, I had to walk out of philharmagic and miss the whole thing because I had to go so bad! The same thing happened at DHS and I missed the Walt movie! So, I too have bathroom issues!
Just as a side - I was an exchange student in France as a teenager. The bathrooms at the high school didn't have seats on the toilets or toilet paper in any of them!? :scared1: So I learned to take some TP with me to school. It was a difficult year to say the least!
OK, back to the TR...

Let's see if I can explain it. Let's say you are standing in between Peter Pan and It's a Small World and facing Liberty Square. (Peter Pan on your left and Small World on your right), start walking towards Liberty Square. As you are going down the slight hill towards Liberty Square, look to your left and you'll see a little alcove like place. That's where the bathrooms are. Sometimes, the line for Peter Pan goes all the way back to very near the entrance of the bathrooms.

I had a friend who went to France for an entire Summer. She complained aobut the bathrooms too. Nasty!

I hadn't even thought of that. Hum? Can I stand this long hair until we get to Disney? Wait a minute, we aren't supposed to go to Magic Kingdom until our second or third day. Don't know if I can put up with it that long.:confused3 I'm gonna keep that in mind though.

John's brother is a barber but he went to cosmetology school first and then on to barber school. He is just one of two barbers in the town he lives in and makes a mint! It helps that his shop is about a block from the main square/courthouse. He is supposed to give Hunter a haircut before we leave.

I also am a cosmetologist. Just haven't worked since I had Claire. Just cut my sons hair last night and tonight I'm doing my dads! LOL! I will come down and cut it if you take me along to Disney! :thumbsup2

Come on! I have already offered to let MICKEY4EVER to ride on top of the car. All you gotta do is tell her to move over a little and hang on tight.:lmao:

Ditto that

The smoke smell doesn't happen every day but sometimes it happens on and off ALL day long. Drives me nuts!

You've been a busy girl already this morning. I am trying to get all my work done. Boss is in what I call the "semi-freaking out" mode. He keeps saying don't worry about a fill-in (we haven't gotten one yet) but I know he's secretly worried. I figure by Monday, we'll be in "full blown freaking out" mode.:rotfl:

I am so glad that I don't have to do any of the taxes at this job. I talked my boss into hiring a guy at an accounting service to do it. Just cost $100.00 a quarter.

I know I am super duper close.

Dana,

I meant to ask you if that was you and Dallas in Team Frenroe's Massive Meet picture. If it isn't, then you two have twins.

I am so not fond of smoke. One of the things I'm not crazy about in Vegas and places like that. I'm always glad to put the Cpap on at night so I feel like I'm breating clean air. Leave a note for the ghosties to quit smoking in your office. :lmao:

I know that bathroom too. We went to it this year. (it's the one where Claire went potty and didn't get her panites down all the way {our last day} and she peed on her underwear. LOL We took them off, walked out grabbed another pair, that luckily I had brought that day and walked back in and put them on. No one was the wiser. LOL)
When we went in there I was trying to remember if I had ever seen that one before or been in it too. It was tucked away. But it was busy when I was in there.

Gosh, I am scatter minded today.

Lacey has been trying to get her transcripts from high school, the college she attended in Louisiana and the California college so that she can start classes at her new college.

Back up, I think I forgot to tell ya'll that the Mission kids will not be doing online classes this year. There is a college in Cleveland, Georgia that has agreed to cut their fees so that the Mission kids can actually sit in a classroom. They are super stoked.

Anyway, Lacey has all of the transcripts already in Georgia but the new school wants new ones and wants them all sealed and unopened. Ugh! What a pain in the rear end.

Let me get back to the original point. Lacey found her high school folder they gave her when she graduated. In it was two pink slips. What were they for? Skipping school! What did she skip school for? She went to morning prayer meeting at the church!:rotfl2: Have you ever heard of anybody skipping school to go to church?:confused3 She's my little angel.:littleangel:

What an aggrevation gathering all that stuff. My dear sweet Austin got his first mark last year. Leaving the school at 6pm after practice and cruising the parking lot didn't make a complete stop at the sign. The principal caught him and was going to keep him from going to prom but the assist principal said that was stupid. He has never been in trouble before, a model citizen, he admitted he was wrong. Let it go. Austin felt terrible and learned his lesson. He couldn't park on school property for 2 weeks. So he drove to the shopping center across the street and a friend picked him up to take him to school. We all know rules are rules but come on. What a bad child. Much like your Lacey. You know division of church and school. When they do the rally round the flag pole each spring they have to be sure and be done 10 minutes before the bell rings.

I can send you Gwendolyn; but, your boss would have to put her up for the week. She does not start back at school until the end of the month and she quit her job at the supermarket to work on school and her Avon sales.

OK, this is totally off topic, but just so funny I had to share. I am sitting at my computer, which is in the basement of our house, going through posts and unsuccessfully trying to catch up. Claire is playing with her zillion Barbies right now. She is always having them put on shows. Well I heard her go "Presenting V-A-G-I-N-A!" (I put the slashes so it doesn't get blocked) LOL! I said, whats your Barbies name? and She repaeated that name. and added "isn't it a wonderful name". I laughed and said "well it's different".
Where the heck did she come up with that? We don;t use that word too often around here, so I have no clue where she heard it and whay she thinks it's a name?
