LOL! Your joke made DD10 laugh. She loves the fairies. We were lucky enough to be at WDW during fairy week. We've met everyone except Terrance and Periwinkle.:goodvibes

Disneyland seems to be the best place to meet so many characters! Especially since it seems they don't ever have attendants over there. Hope you were able to find Peter! He legitimately runs around Disneyland when he's out, I've seen so many videos on YouTube of that. What a great idea to dress up like Terrence for Halloween, you know a lot of the friends of Peter in Disneyland are usually friends with Terrence as well. Little fun fact. Are you going to wear your Terrence costume for when you go to MNSSHP?

Chapter 25: “If ya could change your fate would ya?”

After we returned to our normal size… if you read my last update you would understand… we headed further into Fantasyland!
And what did we see?

Where is she going??
We decided she was probably coming back soon so we hopped in line!
Luckily we were correct!

And Merida requested we do two selfies!

A funny one

A normal one

We then decied to ride one of my favorite rides…
Here is a hint, while reading this the song will probably be stuck in your head!

That’s right It’s A Small World!
For those of you who don’t know… in DL they added Disney characters!
SOOO COOL RIGHT??

Alice and the White Rabbit

Cinderella, Jaq and Gus

Aladdin and Jasmine

Mushu and Ping (Mulan)

Simba and Pumba

Jose, Donald and Panchito

Ariel

Flounder

Lilo and Stitch

Jessie, Woody and Bullseye!!

Everyone has to admit that It’s A Small World is everyone’s favorite ride!

The IASW in Disneyland looks so much cooler and better than the one in WDW! I'm in love with that facade and that is just too perfect how they added the Disney characters into the ride.

Love how you did two selfies with Merida! So goofy! :thumbsup2

Wow does DLR do their character meals different! I’m glad that they’re “set” characters in WDW. At least there’s Ariel’s grotto in DCA! That sounds/looks like a fantastic character breakfast to start the day off with! Lots of fun interaction!!

I love the castle walk through!! I kinda wish there was on in WDW, but I guess there’s enough stuff in that castle! Yay for Terrance! I’ve only met him once, and he was great! Nice costume idea too! Are you doing any Disney vacations/parties?? Scratch that…just saw your ticker! We miss you by like, a month bahaha

Merida’s so adorable!!

Never got on IASW over there, but those characters are super cute! Nice that they added them in there!

Well my mother in law just moved out to CA about 30 min outside of DL I am hoping to visit her sometime (even though it is a 6 hour flight!! I might as well go to Europe! anyway...) if I do go I will have to go to DL I would love to compare it to WDW! Love your report. ::yes::

Thank you for sharing your trip!
I'm glad you survived the ferris wheel of death! That was a close call.
I love meeting characters and am enjoying seeing the DL meet and greet areas.

Chapter 26: Off to the theatre!

So after we disembarked the happiest little cruise we decided to head back to Fantasy Faire to catch the first showing of the Tangled show!

I wasnt really sure what to expect but everyone had been saying that it was really funny!
Basically what goes on at this show is that there are two of the most amazing actors in all the land& And they were going to present the story of Rapunzel!

During the show those two actors would play every character except two very special guests who were there.
The first was&.

Rapunzel, if you were wondering the man in the picture is portraying Mother Gothel!

And the second was&

Flynn!

The show was really good!
Do you want to see some pictures& I mean of course you do!

"You want to go outside?" -Mother Gothel

Check to see if he has pointy teeth Rapunzel!

"A dramatic representation of Rapunzel's hair"

Is that blood in your mustache, hey blondie come look at the blood in his mustache!

Don't any of you have a dream?

Way down deep inside we have a dream!

That's Maximus!

Dramatic representation of a boat!

Awwwww isn't that cute!

"And at last I see the light!"

Let me heal him!

The show was really good!!
And there is a super special surprise& but you will have to wait till the next update!

That Fantasy Faire show seems amazing. I've seen videos of it online, and my favorite part has gotta be this...

(Rapunzel has just knocked Flynn out cold with a frying pan)

Mr. Smythe (storyteller in green): Quickly, Rapunzel did what any imprisoned 18-year-old girl who had just knocked out a climbing stranger would do...

Rapunzel: (ear-piercing scream)

The Storytellers' reactions are just priceless! Anyways, can't wait to see more, Mark!

The Tangled show looks hysterical! I wish Disney World had kept Flynn/Eugene around so they could have something like this. Shows at WDW are kind of lacking in the humor department a bit at the moment.

I love all the different things that you are showing from DL. It really is a fun place to visit and compare. I hope I can get back there someday.

I'm really enjoying your report, Mark! I haven't been to DL in like 40 years or something (gack!) and all I remember is that I preferred WDW's castle and that DL felt old and tired compared to then-brand-new WDW. But as an adult it's really cool to see the similarities and differences between WDW and DLR. I'd love to go back some day with a better appreciation of the history. Must keep buying those lottery tickets.
