You're Going AGAIN?????

I know what you mean about hauling everything out, just to put it all back. About one year ago I bought a crafting desk at Michael's and I have a 2 drawer file cabinet on either side. I have it in a corner of my living room so I can watch tv while scrapping. Everything goes right back into the file cabinets when I'm done so it doesn't look so messy. It's perfect because I don't waste time taking the supplies out. I am having so much fun with my new cricut!!! I got it for Christmas from my darling husband and I just love it!!! I have a set of friends from work that all have them and we've gotten together twice now just to work on projects. We just got together again on Friday so we work on projects and talk about our lives. It's nice to get together with friends. :cloud9:

I bet you are on :cloud9: with your new toy. I am anxious to get my stuff out. Once my ds leaves I am taking over his room. Isn't that horrid of me?? :rotfl: I will miss him terribly, but I never scrap any more cause I can't get to my stuff. I should just dedicate a part of our dinning room toward it...but since he is leaving soon I figure why bother.

I think I'll probably be using my punches for my tip envelopes. I have some Disney punches so I'll start working on those soon. I saw in another PTR about cleaning pennies for the penny presses. I never bothered to clean my pennies before, but her before and after pictures were amazing, so I may like to have clean pennies. We have a nice Disney fund piggy bank that I really should start rolling my quarters and pennies. That thing is getting filled quickly as all of us put our spare change in it. :yay:

What an awesome idea regarding the pennies!!! I may just have to do that too.

We had a really fun Family Day yesterday! We did go to the Mall and I ran into so many sales and I really had a great time! I found more Christmas gifts for this coming year so I was pretty psyched. I also got to go to Build a Bear and bought a new outfit for my bear. Ok, so I had my $10 rewards certificate, so I only spent $3! When we got home we watched .........ready?.......Vampires Suck! Can you believe it? Yeah, totally not Disney related whatsoever but since Victoria and I are into the Twilight movies, we thought this might be funny. Oh, it was so stupid that it was funny! We really had a great day together but alas, this morning, Victoria is already Skyping with her friend on the laptop. [/qote]

:rotfl: Vampires suck...very silly movie.

So, I wanted to share my Disney piggy bank with you all. We got it as a wedding gift from my cousin. Apparently she knows me all too well, huh? All of us have been putting our loose change in it and it's getting quite heavy now. Here it is....

I also wanted to share an awesome purchase I found at Goodwill for $4.99. It's a nice fleece jacket with Lady and her pups from Lady and the Tramp. I thought it was so cute and it's really soft and warm.

Awesome piggy bank! What a great find at Goodwill!!!

So did you actually get 14” of snow? It is amazing how much snow fell across the country! We only got about an inch in my area, but it was enough to pack grocery stores and have kids start school 2 hours late :rotfl: But it was all melted by the next day and we were back to normal. It looks like you guys had a nice Family Day! I was wondering about Vampires Suck. We like the Twilight movies too, so I hoped that a super silly parody of them might be funny. So cool you got a Cricut! I’d love to see the envelopes you made. I thought this was funny because I am the same way:

Yes, both Victoria and I enjoy trading pins with cm's. I don't usually trade with other people, just cm's. I have a hard time approaching people I don't know unless they are paid to talk to me such as cm's. Crazy, I know! :rolleyes1

:lmao: That was why I have been hesitant to get pins to trade! So, I don’t think you are crazy at all! LOL

As far as plans, I like your idea of flying in and then going to DTD and T-Rex. I can’t wait to try out that place myself! The good thing about not wanting to go back to a certain restaurant is that you have time to try so many other different restaurants! Oh, and I meant to ask, what did Peter mean by “Find the Epcots”? because that sounds like a funny story!

Nope Erin, we didn't get 14" of snow....it ended up being 16"!!! :scared1: Not only that, but we got another 8" 2 days later and today.....oh lookie, they are predicting 10 - 12" of snow for today......I came home for lunch and decided just to stay here. At work our computer system is down anyways.....and besides, I was diagnosed with conjunctivitis on Wednesday and have to use this gross medicated gel that makes my eyes feel really funky. It makes it kind of hard to see, so I'd just be whiney at work......I know, hard to believe --- me whiney!!! :lmao:

I do have some sad news......my teddy bear hamster Gucci died yesterday. Apparently they only live 3 or so years and since the person who gave her to me had her for 2 years so it was her time. She will be missed as we all loved to hold her and play with her. :guilty:

Not much on the Disney front to report.......just keep working on the scrapbook from the Disneymoon!!! :bride:

Oh Ann, I'm sorry our Gucci, I hope Victoria isn't too heartbroken! I'm with you on the snow and we don't even have half of what you have! We got about 6 inches and I'm done! What ever happen to loving snow like when I was a kid? :confused3

I'm so sorry to hear about Gucci. The hamster that we had to give away was a teddy bear too - her name was Pretty Girl - so I know how lovable those hamsters can be. I know Gucci will be missed and I wish your family happiness during this sad time.

On a lighter note: Wowza the snow! I hope you got some time to relax at home since there was probably not much to do outside! LOL I'd love to see your scrapbook!

Hi All!!! Guess what.....it's snowing here again!! Will this crap ever stop??? Peter suggested I buy new snow tires yesterday so off we went. $170 later I have 2 brand new tires on the front of my car. Since it's front wheel drive I only put good tires on the front. Yeah, my old tires were boarderline bald, so I really did need new tires, but do you know how many pins I could buy at Disney for $170??!! ALOT!!! :thumbsup2

I've made a decision to start selling Avon again. I used to do that about 5 years ago and I kind of miss it. I liked getting my own products at a discount, too. I never did a huge amount in sales --- just 6 or so customers, but it was enough so that I didn't lose money at it. So, I signed up online the other day and I should be getting my starter kit brochures within a few days. It should be fun.

We did get another hamster. Her name is Rena and she's really cute. She's very skiddish and I will have to work with her everyday so that she gets used to being handled. She already is getting better, but she has a long way to go. Here she is...

I still haven't had the time to work on the Disneymoon scrapbook. I did think it was a good idea to take some pictures of my scrapbook pages I have done to share with you, but I haven't done that yet either. Victoria had a sleepover on Friday night so that tends to keep me busy catering to them, rather than working on my scrapbook. There is a scrapbooking event in March that I'm going to with some friends so that will be a whole 8 hour day of nothing but scrapbooking!! I'm excited!! Hopefully I will get it done then if not sooner! :) Some of my time this weekend has been devoted to working on our taxes. Ugh!!! I now am filing married and that's a whole new thing for me. It was still pretty easy, but I'm used to being a single, head of household with a child and getting almost all the money back, so now that I'm married with two incomes, yeah, big surprise. We are still getting money back, and it's still going into the vacation fund, but it was a lot less than what I anticipated. When I go back to work on Monday, I'll be changing my withholdings to make sure we don't pay in next year. I just had Peter look the return over and I'll be submitting it online today. I still have the rabbit and guinea pig cages to clean and I only got up at 10:05AM. I don't usually sleep in, but I had the killer headache from hell yesterday and I really didn't get to sleep much before midnight again. Ugh! :headache: So, now I'm behind the eight ball as far as getting anything done. And yet here I sit on the laptop.....ambitious, aren't I?? Well I had to update this ptr, right?? ;)

She's so cute!!!! :lovestruc

Don't get me started with taxes! We are just shy of getting the earned income credit and I hate the way they do it b/c if it was net we would totally get it. We had such a horrible year! I'm going to get ours done on Friday b/c with Rey owning and then losing his truck, we have tons of deductions and details I don't want to mess up. Next year will be easier though since he's back to being an "employee" again!

Thanks Karen, I think she's pretty cute, too. Now to get her friendly.....

Yeah, this is the first year I didn't qualify for the EIC. Ugh!! Not that for me it was a whole lot of money last year ($400) but still.....and next year I won't be able to claim dependent care expenses as Victoria will be 13. So, like I said, it's really important for me to change my withholdings tomorrow. I can imagine that taxes would be pretty confusing with Rey having his own business for a while....and your pet sitting and photography. I'm glad mine are pretty simple.

Geez, I've got to get off my butt and get some stuff done this morning. It's already 11:30am and I haven't done anything......I feel so lazy!!! And it's almost time to cook lunch for everyone.......

Joining in. Hope I am not too late. Your title really got my attention as people often say that to us. We often travel through Maine as flights from here are wayyyyyyy too expensive.

Next trip we are flying out of Portland for the second time. We made our first family trip to the Maine Mall earlier this month on our way home. DH enjoyed it-and believe me, that's saying something.

Looking forward to reading more.:goodvibes

Your new hamster is super cute. :cutie:

Taxes are such a pain. I am a bit worried to do ours since a lot changed for us this year. (oldest ds turned 17, oldest dd moved out) I am hoping it will be fine though since between dd's wedding and a house that is in need of repair and 2 wdw trips in 2011 I am paying for...I really could use a return...and NOT owe. It has been a few years since we have owed...but..just the thought we could owe makes me nervous.

Yay on the scrapbook day. One of these days...I am SO gonna spend a day doing that. For now... I am in this holding pattern. Too much going on... too much change about to happen. I just can't get started. :sad2:

Hope your headache goes away... and :thumbsup2 for getting the snow tires...despite how many pins you could have bought at WDW for that. ;)

Welcome to the fun, Pooksma!!! :welcome: Oh yeah, I get my title said to me over and over again.....and you really can't explain to people who just don't "get it". So you guys liked the Maine Mall, huh? Yeah, I like it. It's just big enough that I don't get lost, but not too big so that I....well don't get lost!!! We love the food court as there is something for all of us and a trip to Mrs. Fields cookies!! :goodvibes

I really enjoy the scrapbook events. This one is being held as a fundraiser for a local school. You pay $25 for the day and that includes lunch. There is usually reps from Creative Memories, Stampin Up, etc so you can purchase new stuff. They usually have door prizes, too! It's lots of fun and since you are away from your home, you don't feel so guilty by not doing housework. :cool1: :cool1: Besides you get to gossip with friends.

I hope your taxes come out great for you ---- I get nervous thinking about owing, too. Thank God that didn't happen!!!

Okay, I'm all caught up! Looks like your plans are off to a good start. :thumbsup2

I'm glad Victoria got a new pet but I have severe rodent phobia and the only pics of anything rodent related I want to see are Mickey and Minnie!

Yay!!! Hope is here, too. Sorry about my little rodent pic.....I will try to refrain from posting any more pics of her.....:thumbsup2

I’m glad you got some new snow tires! But not glad about the snow! I am so sick of snow! We got a snow/sleet/ice combo last Wednesday in Northern Virginia and we were totally unprepared for it! Now we are about to get more snow and ice tonight! I’ll look at the bright side though, because we have a 2 hour delayed opening at work tomorrow – more if the weather is really bad. I have front wheel drive too and it was quite literally a lifesaver last week in the sleet and ice. I need a vacation! ;)

Avon! So much fun! I sold Avon about 10 years ago, and lost major money because I was buying more personal stuff than I was selling :lmao: People who are more serious about it, like you, at least make money! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the skin-so-soft with the bug repellant! That stuff works wonders for me and I am a mosquito magnet! If you are selling online, I will totally buy it from you rather than get it at the mall ;)

Rena is super cute! :cutie:

Your thread title pulled me in... I sooo get it:rolleyes1 This upcoming trip is our second this year for many reasons I won't bore you with. Let's just say I hear "You're going again???" a few times a week myself.

Looking forward to following your PTR:goodvibes

Just coming in for a brief second to show you guys the tip envelopes I attempted to create yesterday.....I'm not sure I like them. I'm not a very good stamper!!! :confused3
