Have you been to F&W before? Or is this your first F&W trip?

Yes, we've been in '05 and '06. We love it. I print out all of the menus ahead of time so we know what we're interested in getting. It's so nice to be able to try bite-sized portions of things we probably wouldn't try otherwise.

Last year we tried a spicy beef casserole from South Africa called bobotie. I actually wasn't that fond of it but my sister really enjoyed it. I did like the spaetzle from Germany and the sausage from Poland.

Pffft... Free Dining.

You know they spit on the free fud right?

Ok here is my defence for free dining. I am a part time college kid trying to make a living. I unfortunately can't afford DVC...yet and Signature Dining...yet. My trips have to be budget friendly but very fun. Free Dining allow us to eat where we want and not worry about the cost of the meal so I can afford something extra...like alcohol. I love my alcohol. And I plan on having lot of it on my next trip.

Besides the servers don't know if your dining plan was free or not. So there is no spit in the fud. So there. :snooty:

Besides...spit or not...it's gud fud.

Why am I going again? Well...why not? I mean it is Disney after all. Why wouldn't I go back?

Well for one I want to do more F&W. Last year we got to do the first day and honestly I wasn't as impressed with it as I was in 2006. For one half the booths did not have their food. There were things I wanted to try but couldn't because they were not prepared. Since we were leaving the next day we could not spend alot of time at F&W.

Another is that we missed our Crystal Palace breakfast on my sister's birthday. So we had to come back for our traditional early morning Crystal Palace breakfast. Also we want to do MNSSHP again.

More on F&W and MNSSHP later.

I'm pretty sure I could live in Epcot full time if I were single and set my mind to it. There's pleny of places to "hide".

Well folks according to Doc we have our flights booked but I haven't gotten that information out of her yet.

Stay tuned...

ETA: FIRST CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently we are flying first class. I almost had a heart attack and still waiting on confirmation from Grumpy.

ETA 2: Ok called Grumpy and he says it was cheaper to fly first class. :confused3 Huh? Then he says a first class ticket was fewer miles than a coach ticket. Apparently he had over 200K American Airlines miles and cashed them in. And what is really cool about this is that all those miles were accumulated on flights paid for by the government when Grumpy traveled for business.

Traveling in style I see!

I have never flown first class before. My dad has...he used to fly alot for business so he gets all kinds of perks. I know he was using miles for this trip...just didn't know he had enough for 4 tickets.

Apparently they actually feed you real food in first.

Oh you are so lucky...first class! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I've flown that before. It's a whole different world up there. :cool1:

I used to use the extra miles on United to go first class to Orlando but now it's all Ted which doesn't have First Class.

I flew home First Class today from Vegas. :woohoo:

I don't know what it is...perhaps it's the fact we still have 7 months to go...but I can't get Happy or Grumpy to plan anything. I mean the only thing that I can get out of Grumpy is the fact that he wants to go to Party for the Senses at Epcot. I agree, it is one of our big MUST DOs this year. The other is MNSSHP. The other is he wants to eat at The Rose and Crown. We went for lunch back on 02 and loved it.

I havn't posted our tentative dining stuff yet since that is still in the planning stages. But we were planning on dinner at Chefs de France for Doc and myself. So I fugures Happy and Grumpy can do Rose and Crown at that time. I know we were planning on a family dinner at the Biergarten and perhaps Narcoosees.

Maybe Grumpy justs wants to go with the flow this year. I dunno...I do know he better think dining or they will end up with a ton of TS credits left on their DDP.
