Hi-- need advice please! We land in Orlando Saturday November 27th with a one and three year old. DD wants to see Mickey! (not into the Princesses).

Would you recommend any particular Character meal? We were thinking of getting PS at Chef Mickey's... what do you think?

We are doing the rest of the parks later that week, but thought it might be fun to warm her up with this first.

THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE!

We have started a couple of vacations with Chef Mickey's and I think it's a great choice. I think the food choices are great and I think it's the best buffet dessert bar on the property.

Great characters, great location - great choice!

I think Chef Mickey's is your best bet. You will see Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Goofy, and sometimes Donald. Great atmosphere for kids.

I will 2nd and 3rd Chef Mickey's. My kids love it and they love the food there as well.

I would recommend Ohana's, it is bigger, quicker, seems to sit more people, and the kids also get to play games with the charactres as well.

Out of the parks I think Chef Mickey's is the way to go too. Food is just OK, but it has the best character mix of traditional Disney characters- as I recall bfast has more than dinner- or maybe it is the reverse. Can't remember, but I am sure someone will know which is which.

Blessings :)

I love 'Ohana character meal too but unfortunately it is only available for breakfast and the OP asked for dinner options.

Chef Mickey's is high energy and lots of fun. You could have an extra special time by riding the monorail to the MK resorts and looking over the MK and building the excitement for what is to come later in the trip.

The only downside to Chef Mickey's is that it is a buffet so it is a little harder to juggle 3-4 plates assuming you are assisting your young ones but I'm sure that's just a minor inconvienience.

Chef Mickey's is a great place for dinner. The character interaction is great. I thought the food was delicious, but I am not to terribely picky either. DD's 18 mos and 3 had a blast and absolutely adored it.

We will be there our first night for a super vacation kick off.
