Wow- I feel so much better reading all of these messages.

3 years ago we were in WDW (9/11 @ Epcot) and for a month before I could barely contain my excitement.

Now I am taking my 12 year-old daughter on September 27-October 5 @ WDW and then on the Wonder for 4 days. There is literally not a waking second that I am not thinking about- planning for- and obsessing about our trip.

My countdown is the same as yours also Grinningghost! I'm getting VERY excited, but I'm trying to keep it low-key since 4 year old dd has woken up every day this week and asked if we were going to Disney today.

It will be my first trip in Sept. and I have been soooooo excited since i booked it. Got my summer bonus a couple of days ago and I can't wait to spend some of it at WDW

We have six more days of waiting and I cant sleep .In fact I dont think I have slept without dreaming of WDW since I booked the FTP.

We will be arriving in just a few days and I haven't been able to sleep well. I keep telling my hubby next week at this time we will be at Disney....it doesn't seem to phase him. I already know next Wed night I won't get any sleep at all. I'll just be watching the clock and waiting.

Every year I feel like you do, but this time I'm even more excited because it's my 1st. time using the boards. WOW, I thought I knew alot till I got on here. We're all counting the days, and like always we can't figure out what to do, where to go,or what to eat first.There are always the favorites,and the new things to try.When people ask why do we go back to Disney every year I like to say,Hey you have 1 life to live you might as well live it DISNEY . Did that rotten tomato I found on the bottom of my vegtable bin hit you?

I feel like everyone else. All I want to do is talk about or plan the trip! My problem is I'm the only one who feels this way in our home. My kids (oldest were too young on last trips to remember & youngest two have never been) want to be excited but don't know what to be excited about. My DH would rather go fishing.

I can't wait to start packing.....maybe next week

Meanwhile in the back of my mind is this: I hope the trip lives up to all of my expectations. I hope I'm not setting myself up for disappointment.

I notice quite a few posters who will be there around the same time as us. (9/28-10/10) When do we start a thread for those who will be there at the same time?

I Know what everyone means. We have 7 weeks from Wed, Justgot out plane tickets (seems to make it official) I run to the mailbox like a little kid. Yesterday checked my carry-on (been buying things for weeks) re-aranged it a little,planned,cancelled and re-booked priority seatings, looked at my connectionc Q and C vouchers, Made a schedule, lunch and dinner plans. DH just_laughs and says "I thought we already had all our reservations?"

It doesn't even take a scheduled trip to WDW to get me 'jumping out of my skin' with that Disney love - Hubby just mentioned something about driving down to WDW for our next trip (which was barely a glimmer in my eye, it's about 2 yrs away, LOL!) and I had to grab my 'Disney Bible' (Passporter) to rough out a 10 day itinerary

We weren't suppost to go back to WDW until May 04'. So I try to stay away from the Dis until about 4 months before we go because we all now what happens when you "DIS". We my DD go into her tapes and has been watching old WDW tapes. So I just had to pop in and see what was going on in the DIS. You know, see if there were some really good codes out. Well as you can see I have since booked a trip in Oct. Disney should really use this as their website. We can get anyone to go to WDW!

I'm thinking Disney World should sponsor this board. How many of us have planned trips because of these boards? I, for one, had no intention to go this summer. Our first trip was last summer and we said maybe in a couple of years we would go back. Well, about 3 months ago, I started reading these boards and getting the fever bad. Would have never known about the FTP otherwise. I finally couldn't stand it any longer and booked it. We are leaving next Monday. I may actually start getting some packing done if I could stay off these boards long enough!
