It's getting to the point where I need to make some ADR's and I can't decide where to go! The only places I've eaten before were the Whispering Canyon and Chef Mickey's, and these were without the family in tow. So I would be interested in hearing your:

Top 5 restaurants for atmosphere:

Top 5 restaurants for food:

Any other comments or suggestions would be helpful. Let's just say we don't have a real eclectic taste. We're willing to try something new, but don't want to stray too far.

Mexico in Epcot although I have never eaten there I think it would be cool!

I don't have that many I would rate too highly in either category, but I will try my best to assist! :)

Atmosphere:

*Sci - Fi ...I know, I know...a lot of people hate it, but I had a blast!

Food:

*Wolfgang Puck Cafe
*Le Cellier

Atmosphere:
Prime Time
O'Hana
San Angel Inn
Sci Fi
Coral Reef

Food:
Brown Derby
Wolfgang Puck's
Boma
Marrakesh
Maya Grill

I have to say that really all of these could spill into either category. For example, Marrakesh has a great atmosphere as well as food and Coral Reef has great food as well as atmosphere!

The only one I listed that falls only into that particular category for me is Wolfgang Puck's. The food was wonderful but the tables are very close and its very noisy. Which is why its nice to go very early when its not crowded.

Atmosphere:

'Ohana
Chefs de France
Hollywood Brown Derby
Boma
California Grill

Food;

Boma
California Grill
Yachtsman's Steakhouse
Bistro de Paris

Spoodles

Top 5 for Atmosphere:
50's Prime Time Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Cinderella's Royal Table
Coral Reef
'Ohana

FYI: another category to consider, service. Spoodles has consistently (last 3 trips) provided superior service during our dining experiences. (Worst food, service and cheesy atmosphere=Mama Melrose, by far).

Admittedly, we have not yet tried the upper tier of WDW eateries, (CG, Jiko, Artist's Point, etc).

Our Top 5 for Atmosphere:
San Angel Inn (Mexico)
Cinderella's Royal Table (Castle)
Sci-Fi (MGM)
Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge)
Coral Reef (Epcot-- Seas)

Our Top 5 for Food:
California Grill
Jiko's
Le Cellier
Boma
Victoria & Albert's

Just as a side note, I have to say that if it came down to it, we'd never substitute any of the atmosphere places for the Food places.

Chefs de France
San Angel Inn
California Grill

Food:
Citricos
Le Cellier
Chefs de France
