Your take on Tony's Town Square?

Tony's is very good and that's coming from an Italian.:thumbsup2:worship: And I don't eat Olive Garden that's horrible.:scared1:

Most recently, we've eaten hear in June 2006 and June 2009. Both times the food was great. Personally, I love their Sirloin steak. And, believe it or not, I never order steak out, because I am picky about beef. This is our first reservation for our Nov. 2010 trip.

We ate there for dinner last July for the first time. We were a little nervous about trying it due to a lot of negative reviews here! But we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was not the best we had on our trip, but it was good! We were celebrating my husband & my birthday's that trip and we had a nicely decorated table. And our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We are not going back this trip, and I keep debating whether to switch our adr's around to add it! :)

I agree the reviews are mixed, at best :confused3, but we enjoy our meals there. We've gone on our last 2 trips. I can't say it's our best meal while at WDW...but it's good. We probably pick it for the convenience of staying at the MK. We also always do the DxDP, so I think that sways us too...we want to get our money's worth!

OP, if you do end up going, I recommend the tomato mozzarella salad as an appetizer and the chicken parmesan as an entree.:thumbsup2

We have eaten at Tony's in 2005 and in 2008. We like the atmosphere and the location for parades times, but the food is not that great. I'm not saying we would never eat there again, but it doesn't always make our list for every trip....we skipped it in 2009.

I have only eaten there once, a couple of years ago, but it was not good. Probably the worst TS meal I've had on Disney property (out of a good sampling). If I recall correctly, I had the steak, and it just did not seem to be a good piece of beef.

I am very picky about Italian food (used to generations of homemade) its not horrible, not great, easily forgetable...for what you get I think its high priced, the CMs are wonderful, the desserts are yummy, the steak for me is the best bet...I love L & T so its more about the decor and adding to my collection (glasses etc) I truly miss the Breakfast they used to have there (not the Grand Gatherings)...I would go & judge for yourself

We ate at TTS twice while we were there last week. I got the spaghetti and meatballs and my DH got the whole wheat pasta primavera. The kids got pizza. We liked it a lot. Our waitstaff was great both times and the food was good. So good I ate all of it (which I never do). We will go back.

We weren't impressed, but we also didn't think it was horrible. We are going to try going to restaurants in nearby resorts this time instead (O'hana's , Konas, 1900 PF). Even though MK is our favorite park, it has the least good restaurant options.

I had a very tasty meal and excellent service there in October!!!!:thumbsup2

We ate there in December 2009 and the only complaint about the meal was mine. The spaghetti that came with my chicken parm. was overcooked. It was a bit mushy and I like my spaghetti with a bit of bite to it. Of the 6 meals we ordered that was the only complaint. Everyone else loved their meals. My chicken parm was delicious too just not the spaghetti underneath it.

I decided to go again and ask for my spaghetti al dente this time. :)

I had a very good experience at Tony's. I was there with a party of 5 adults and 1 child. There were no complaints from anyone about the food. Our server was one of the best I have had on property. I say give it a chance.

If you walk in the door expecting "fine dining" you will be sorely disappointed. However- I think Tony's is perfectly fine for what it is- a nicely themed restaurant. We had never been, but my daughter chose this for a lunch on her Sweet 16 trip in March- I was actually a little apprehensive about it after reading all the bad reviews- it was very good. I had a meatball sub and it was tasty- like a sub you'd get from a local sub shop. Everyone else (there were 9 of us) enjoyed theirs as well. Our server was great. It's worth a shot!

We ate there on our Dec trip. My whole family really liked it. All three of my kids (even my very picky DS8)actually ate and did not complain. My DS11 even tried the asparagus out of the shrimp scampi and liked it. I told him he could order it without but he insisted he wanted to try it.
The service was really good too despite it being so busy (we were there on Dec 30th so the park was packed). We will be returning again.
