YES! I like older acts (just went to Alice Cooper and Judas Priest concert) but I'd much rather have the newer younger acts in this instance. Last year I loved Kendrick Lamar. Not my usual listening music but thought he was great. I'm looking forward to this one, see what he brings to the stage.I get tired of people who only want 'older' acts and diss the newer ones ...
There are always going to be performers that are not a watcher's cup of tea. No reason not to broaden your viewing by seeing something different. Only a 15 minute show. And if it really rubs you wrong then don't watch and use the break to do something else. I mean I usually spend the evening just watching the commercials and half time unless I have some interest in a team.
He opted to not tour on the mainland for the safety of the concert goers AND instead to do a concert residency in Puerto Rico that needed the influx of much needed cash. It just finished up and estimated to put $200 million in to the economy. No different when an artist does not tour but does residency in Las Vegas. This announcement surprised me as he said he wasn’t going to tour in the US with the current political climate.
