I use so much data because I listen to music from apps in my car, but I only do it because we have so much data we never use. Our cell bill is inexpensive so we just went with the bigger data plan. We've never used more than 8 gigs of data, but as dd gets older and when we give ds his phone soon I know we'll use more.

OMG this is embarrassing but here goes. We share 30 gb of data and have free text and calls.

Data: 17 GB and this is only because I set him to 17 gb limit. He used to always go up to 25 gb or more and leave us with barely anything to use. He uses data at school because the school wifi sucks.

I'm in a few group chats due to a wedding I'm in. They send texts constantly. There's one group for the bachelorette party. One with the bride. One without the bride. There's been A LOT of drama with the wedding party and MOB so it's been busy. One group chat with friends for summer plans. One for DD's softball team and they text a lot. I have doctors I work with that text when they need something.) Before this wedding I was around 5K a month.

We're only halfway through our billing cycle- I can't see what we used last month. I'm at 1592 texts and DH is at 356. I've used 200 calling minutes and DH has used 214. We both use our phones exclusively for calling, and I send a lot of texts to friends/family to keep up with people. I got rid of social media over a year and a half ago. We have 2 GB each month between the two of us and don't use it all. If we vacation we will end up going over, but that's a $15 charge to go over, $10 to upgrade to more data so unless we go over our data 8+ months out of the year it's not worth it to upgrade our plan. We use it for GPS every day for traffic and will use it for watching "wheels on the bus" on youtube at the end of dinner at a restaurant to keep our 3 YO DS quiet

We have 5 iPhones and an old relic (not even a smartphone) and 2 tablets that share 40GB of data with unlimited talk/text.

I work 12-hour days out of an ambulance and I stream a lot of music or videos (Netflix is a great way to kill time in between calls) so most of that data is mine. We just switched from an unlimited data plan, but we added two lines (for the kids) and we are saving about $20/month. I am being more diligent about using wi-fi when I can and the girls often turn their cellular data off. This is our first month with the new plan so we will see how it goes. I was very scared to get rid of the unlimited data, knowing that I can never get it back, but adding two phone lines and still saving money was too good to pass up. The rep said that e analyzed our usage for the past year and the most data used in any given month was 14GB so I feel more comfortable that 40GB should be plenty.

My husband and our son and I share 3 GB of data. We hardly ever go over and if we even get close, I tell my son to stop using data effective immediately. He always uses more than my husband and me; before we added him, we shared 2 GB of data and rarely went over. We have cable internet at home and wifi router hooked up to that so we use wifi at home. We don't stream on data.

Our billing cycle rolls on the 7th, so we're less than a week in, and so far:

55 cell minutes (unlimited)
14 texts (unlimited)-- but that must only be counting non-iMessages. Almost everyone I text with has an iPhone so they go as iMessages, and I don't think those count. I text my sister and my husband and others every day but they're all on iPhones.

It was stuck in the bottom of a drawer in my roll top desk.. I got flamed on FB because when I cleaned out my mom's house 3 years ago I found my paycheck stub from 1973 and posted a photo. I come by it naturally, my mom finally decided in 2000 that she didn't need every canceled check that she and my dad had written back to 1950 when they got married. Took her weeks to shred all those old checks. Was fun going through and seeing checks for 25 cents for parking tickets, and $1,750 for a brand new 1957 Chevy 150 (that in mint condition is worth $34,000 today).

I have a very old plan through Verizon with unlimited data. I never check how much I'm using since it's unlimited, but I just pulled it up. I have 13 days left in my billing cycle and so far I have used 16.67GB.

I listen to Netflix documentaries in the car. As it turns out, you don't really need to WATCH documentaries.

Dh, dd19 and I share 4gb data, unlimited texting, unlimited talk. We don't use a ton of talk time. Maybe a few hours a month between us. We text a lot. I'm in wifi most of the day, and dh doesn't use too much. Generally dd19 uses 2 -2.5 gb of our 4gb data.
