Watched this movie tonight and, I must admit, I liked it even better than I thought I would. I wanted to see it all along but, I really dislike Jaime Lee Curtis (can't explain it) but, I think no one else could've done that particular role. Very cute movie. 6yo DD really liked the music.

So, your review?

I enjoyed it, but it seemed kind of painful to watch sometimes. I give it 3 stars.

I just wanted to ask you if you got your Cubs tickets yesterday, Kim??

Now back to Freaky Friday, don't want to hijack your thread, LOL. :)

LOL Dan. Can't swing those season tickets but, I'll get a "few" individual game tickets. ;)

So, what's your review of Freaky Friday, Dan??

I also liked the movie-- It had a few forgetable parts but still was fun- I also liked the original :)

I absolutely DESPISE Lindsay Lohan (and Hilary Duff, but that's a whole different story) so I had no real desire to see this movie. However, my sister got it for Christmas and I got bored one day and watched it - and LOVED it! I thought it was hilarious and really cute...glad I didn't miss it.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be. I can't stand Jamie Lee Curtis either. I can't explain why, I've just never liked her. I think if someone else had starred, I would probably have liked it better.

I absolutely love this movie!!!!!!!!!! I really like Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, so I guess that helps. I saw it twice in the theater, and now own it on DVD. It's one of my favorite movies I have seen in a long time.

My son got the DVD for Christmas and we watched it over my sister's house on her BIG TV...

I'm shocked to say I REALLY liked it. I think the writers had the two generations right on! We've since rented the 1976 original, which I didn't like HALF as much. The new one was definitely written by a woman who lived both lives so it really rings true.

BTW, I liked the music, too!

It was rather uncomfortable watching this movie with my mom, seeing as I'm 14, in a band, and pretty much fit every other sterotype that Lindsey Lohan played in this movie. It though did make my mom realize that my little brother started alot more stuff than she thought he did! It was a really good movie overall!

I saw it again last night and enjoyed it just as much. It hit every right note. I love the little details they paid attention to, such as when they're leaving for the rehersal dinner and Jamie Lee Curtis yells "shotgun" in the background. I thought the story was very well structured, it progressed well, was stable and had a good ending. I don't think I was expecting much when I went in to this one considering Disney's past track record but I came out totally thrilled.

I am another person here who doesn't like Jamie Lee Curtis and can't really explain why! I saw this movie in the theater with DD and we both loved it. We even have the CD in the car and listen and sing along to it all the time!!LOL We got the DVD for X-mas and have watched it 3 times already.

I just read in a magazine that Boris the Fed Ex guy was Jodie Foster's love interest in the original Freaky Friday.

BTW we love it, we've watched it about 1/2 dozen times since getting the DVD for Christmas. I work in a middle school and they do a good job of portraying how teens behave and dress.

We watched the movie while traveling at Christmas time. I liked it but I probably won't watch it again. It's just not the kind of movie that I can sit and watch over and over. But it was definitely a good movie.

My DD8 loves this movie - enough to buy it with her Christmas money. She watches it all the time.

i LOVE this MOVIE!!! My friends and I watched it 3 times at the movies..our parents liked it 2..it's just soo awesome! They did a great job and portraying the adult and teenager's life..i can watch this movie over and over and over again:bounce:

another fan here! We all liked it a lot and agree that it was better than the original.

I really liked it. I read the book as a kid, and was sorry that they had to change things, but I guess that's the times for you.

I don't know if they guy who played Boris the delivery man was the love interest in the Jody Foster version (although it would make sense), I do know that Boris was the book's upstairs neighbor who was a friend/boyfriend (actually his name was Morris, but he had allergies and everyone thought he was saying Boris. It was the 70s!).

Our family liked it - I thought it was cute. I never liked Jamie Lee Curtis until I saw her in True Lies, then changed my mind about her. I was a big fan of the original with Jodie Foster.
