Your pets weirdest favorite treats

Our black lab mix will eat just about anything. His new favorite treat - fresh grape tomatoes. I tossed him one the other day when I was picking them and he apparently loved it - he's out there every day chomping away! We used to grow sweet corn and we knew it was ready when he would go grab an ear (well, the entire stalk) and eat it. He really loves fresh fruit and veggies, but he'll eat anything. Except the treats at the vet! He will turn his nose at those.
Our shorkie will eat anything the big dog eats, but her tummy is more delicate so just a nibble usually. Except sweet corn. If we have corn on the cob with dinner, she will very impatiently wait until we're done and then she gets our leftovers. She shakes with excitement and her eyes are scary wide open while she devours that corn!
Our cat loves salt - fries, chips, she does eat the stuff but not until she's licked off all the salt. DH jokes he's going to get her a salt lick. She also loves the leftover almond milk in my cereal bowl every day. She thinks every time I get a bowl out she's getting her milk.

Our pup thinks that the cat litter box is a treat, yuck! :crazy2: :scared:

My black lab mix is the same way. We have the litter box upstairs in DD's bathroom, but we have to leave the door open obviously for kitty. Well if we all leave, the dog is up there within minutes to gobble it all up. We've caught him numerous times if we've had to come back in. Ew.

My dogs love carrots!

I do have a question for dog owners. My yorkies have very sensitive stomachs. I have limited them to grain free food and the treats we give are the same ones they have had for years because if I give them something new they tend to vomit. One is 13 and the other 11. So, my question is that they want to eat grass every day!! Does that mean they are trying to vomit every day? Someone mentioned up thread that their dog eats lettuce. Does that have the same effect as grass? I feel awful that they may feel the need to constantly clear their tummies but it seems they get sick on everything. They even get sick on science diet prescription food for upset tummies. Any ideas?

I've read that it helps with digestion. Our big dog eats a good bit of grass I think when he's a little constipated - cleans him right out. A quick Google search also tells me it might be to fulfill unmet nutritional needs. I would ask your vet, just to be safe.

Cat #1 likes marinara sauce and parmesan, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese sauce. And I swear he has super senses. It doesn't matter where in the house he is, if he hears the freezer door and then the silverware drawer open, he comes running because he KNOWS it's ice cream time.

Cat #2 likes to lick cheeto dust off of your fingers and she also likes mac & cheese sauce

Cat #3 likes pizza dough...like the soft dough under the toppings. He will also eat through a bread package to get to the bread if we leave the loaf out on the counter, so it has to stay in the cabinet...we learned this the hard way...RIP hamburger buns.

Weirdos...the lot of them...but I love them.

My one cat (a lovely little long-haired Tortie stray we rescued from the field around our house) likes Crunchy Cheetos and Cheez-its. She turns her nose up at regular treats, but if one of us is eating the crunchy cheetos (or the knockoffs from Trader Joe's), she wants one, too. I dropped a Cheez-It once, and she gobbled it right up before I could pick it up.

My sister dropped part of a Pringle once, and she enjoyed it immensely. I think she really, really likes crunchy things.

The other cat, a skinny little house panther, absolutely LOVES Spaghettios. (She cleans the dish afterwards.)

The oldest cat, a fat, gray majestic beast... prefers her cat food and regular cat treats, but will be incredibly lovey and beg for pork chops if you're eating them. (She's also got up in my face for a donut, but she wouldn't ever eat it even if I offered it to her. I get a dirty look if I offer.)

Animals are fun.

My shih tzu mix will eat anything and is always underfoot in the kitchen hoping for something to fall, but I'd say the biggest excitement for both the shih tzu mix and our terrier mix is the ice machine. The second they hear that ice maker running, so are they...full speed into the kitchen. The will fight over the shards of ice that break off when they bite into the big pieces

DD#2's current cat likes the fresh herbs she grows in pots, almost any kind of raw green (lettuce, cabbage, kale, etc.) and for his junk food treat, he likes the cream from the middle of Hostess cupcakes.

Her first cat loved chicken nuggets (he'd steal them right off the plate) and he'd lick the remains from a tray of Stouffer's Escalloped Chicken and Noodles.

My dog comes running when he hears the Redi Whip can. I'd think it was weird but the dog I had before him loved redi whip too.

I had a cat who loved popcorn. She also like potato chips. Must have been the salt.

We have a cat who loves popcorn and potato chips too! She'll crawl inside the bag if you stop paying attention to her, but she also sits next to the bag and drags out chips or popcorn. So cute! This same cat is 100% disinterested in canned cat food. She was DH's cat before I met him, and it took her 5 years to warm up to me, but now she's my best friend. Tortoiseshell, btw.

ETA: DH just reminded me--this cat also loves olive oil!

lol, that is so cute! I'm sure mine would eat Redi Whip too. They rarely turn down any food that falls to the ground or is offered
