Your pet's "given" name vs nickname

Fergie's nickname is "Bad Girl!"

Diana's nickname was "Yanny." Sort of the last 2 syllables of "Di-yan-a". And I might add she was a very good girl.

I wonder if the Duchess of York had the same nickname?

I was thinking about saying the same thing about Fergie!

Our dog responds to "outside?" She is very good about only using the bathroom outside. (we are lucky).

We recently got another dog, not my choice and she has gone on to live with 2 very good friends of ours. My DD named her Scout and I called her Scout with an emphasis on the "ou" so it sounds Canadian. lol

My dog had a beautiful Sheltie and he wanted to name her, but all he came up with was "Girl" and that's what she was forever known as!

My orange tabby's name is Penelope Garcia, like the character from Criminal Minds. It started when we first got her she is pretty as a penny and I love Criminal Minds. That turned into just calling her Pen-Pen or when I am mad, dumb @$$. DBf calls her "You" after a cat from a Terry Pratchett book series he reads.

I love Penelope Garcia...know you just need to dye her hair blue, pink, yellow, etc. LOL

Our pets have two names: "Cody Bear" the dog is known as "fatboy" and our cat "Ms. Molly" is known as "thing"! Our pets have always had two names, I think that is a term on endearment! hugs and kisses to all the furry family members!

I commented on our own cats but we have fosters with nicknames too.

Tommy- When we brought him home his brother was chasing him down the hall, he put on the brakes and his brother "flew right by" He forever became Maverick to us.

We had 4 Siamese - Willie & Waylon, Sara Lee, & Sweet Baby Jane, we called them the Outlaws.

Two Ragdolls they were beutiful girls and loved to sit in our laps, they however didn't like the other cats, and hissed whenever anyone came near.
They were the "Hissy Sisters"

I guess, we have "sweet" names for all of our pets. ( okay, sometimes " not so sweet) Although, our horse's registered names and barn names...are not even close.
