When I'm waiting in line at WDW, I think I tend to look rather bored, even though underneath, I am pretty much ready to jump out of my skin with excitement.

I've noticed that many people have the "bored" look in line - do you think they're actually extremely excited underneath that bored exterior?

And what's your "look"? :)

I'm usually chatting off my dh's ear so I never really thought about it. Either that or I'm usually reviewing the pictures on my digital for the 100th time.

Well, when by myself, I think I probably have that "reading-a-book" look. It's not that I don't want to talk to people, or mind people talking to me, but I like to occupy myself during inactive times. ::MickeyMo

When its just DBf and me I tend to be the one jumping up and down with anticipation and talking his ear off :hyper: But if I'm with anyone else or alone I tend to have the bored look....mostly b/c I'm so excited inside that I just want time to go faster! :earboy2:

I think it's possible that some people actually are bored in line as not everyone is as crazy about WDW as us. As for me - I don't think I have ever had a bored look on my face anywhere in WDW. :flower:

I would bet anyone on the DIS that they couldn't pick me out as a DISer in a WDW line. They would pass right over me because I probably look like one of the TRULY bored people. ;)

But inside, I am insanely excited - like him -

I really AM usually bored. =) Thank goodness for going during off-peak season! I hate lines!

(when my mom goes, she often brings a book to read in line if she's solo)

My personal waiting in line look is usually tired, hot, frazzled trying to get the kids to quit hanging from something or knocking into someone. Excited I am, but also usually stressed. We usually go in Sept. when the lines are really not bad at all. I usually on get like that with Dumbo because it is the darn slowest line!

I'm so goofy I usually get into conversations with the people around me! Sometimes I'm sure they think - what a maniac! But other times we've met some really nice people!

I probably look like some nervous mouse ::MickeyMo with my head moving around everywhere. Maybe it is from working in NYC, but I'm always people watching and what better place to do it, then when waiting in line. :earseek: I think my DW hates it, b/c she is always trying to talk to me and I'm looking everywhere else, but at her (but I am actually listening). However, sometimes she does it too. Then we talk about the people we see (I know...we're bad people).

:laughing:You sound like hubby & I. Whenever we line up we are like that. I can only imagine how bad we'll be at Disney.

Ditto! All of this while DH is oblivious to our kids standing/playing right there with us!!

I'll be the one behind you singing along with the pre-show music if there is any...if not, I'll be singing something or laughing about something that happened earlier. I tend to not get bored on lines at Disney...Mostly because I avoid lines as much as I can.

I usually have the "I can't believe how hot it is standing in this line" look

when waiting in line since i am almost always with more then one member of my family we usually try to have conversation about our day and what to do next but when waiting in long lines, sometimes boredom can take hold. after borerdom usually comes frustration. smiles, then blank looks followed by frowns

what would make it so very easy if WDW would install some lagre screens above the queue lines and play movies or news or anything that would ease the boredom of waiting on line.

the only downside i can see to this would be that the line jumpers would sieze the opportunity to jump ahead because everyone may be looking up at the screens and wouldnt notice them slipping by :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Lines? What lines? We never encounter lines more than a few minutes....

Oh, wait! Silly me, we go in the off season!

I'd say I either look bored, or I look interested in the themeing of the queue area. Or I'm chatting with DFi. But really, since we do go in the off season, we don't wait in many lines, at least not for long!

I'm prolly jumping, boucning, and poking whoever is stupid enough to wait on the line with me. :hyper:

I have three very distinct "looks" while in line at WDW. The first is the "Wheeeeee! Look how fast I'm walking through this FastPass line! I cannot wait to get on the ride!" look. The second is the "wide eyes, pleasant smile, just happy to be here" look. The third is the "staring at the ground thoughtfully, probably look like I'm pondering macroeconomics, but really I'm just wondering if I just stuck my hand in someone's old gum" look. Those are my solo trip looks. I have a whole different repertoire for groups.
