What is your educated opinion my fine Diser friends? I am of the opinion that crowds tend to thin after the afternoon parade and people go to the resorts and/or reserved dinners. I should edit this with the caveat that we all know the evenings are full. I'm only talking about the period between the parade end and the evening hours.

I said increase because of what I have been seeing in MDE app... However - there is no science behind my thinking. Things may be peaking at 2pm and I'm not paying close enough attention.

Crowds did not thin one bit as far as I could tell last week after the 3 pm parade. It was still wall-to-wall people in MK all 3 days we were there. After the MSEP and Wishes, crowds lessened, but not in the afternoon.

Nope, the crowds stay pretty heavy right through the night time entertainment and only after the fireworks do you see crowds begin to lessen.

I thought I read somewhere that the were adding a noon parade. anyone else hear this?

There is some other parade, not Festival of Fantasy but a dance in the street kind of thing. I think they had it three times a day, but I wasn't really interested in it so I can't say for sure. I caught the tail end of it around the Hub one evening just before my BOG reservation at 6 pm.

As I recall, The Unofficial Guide guys claim that crowds build rapidly through the morning, level out early afternoon, and then start slowly dropping after the parade. Certainly there are a considerable number of people heading out after the parade, but going on actual wait time charts I'm not convinced. People are still arriving parade time and beyond. It also looks to me like a lot of people watch the parade, then get in line for rides that were busy earlier, even if the wait time there is as high as it ever gets that day. I'd say things start slowing a bit closer to five or six, and it's a much more gradual slowing than the build in the mornings. The difference between opening and 10:00 a.m. is striking; the difference between 3:00 and 5:00, or between 5:00 and 7:00, not so much.

I just checked the disney website and they have 2 FoF parades listed for today one at noon and one at 3pm. I hope they still have it in april as that noon time one will be easier for us to see.
