Your most magical interaction with a face character?

I want to hear about everyone's most magical interaction with a face character

Could be a princess, or a villain, or anyone! I just want to know who it was with and why it was so magical

Mine was when Peter Pan and Wendy ran up to my daughter (then 4) in NFL, grabbed her hands, and brought her onto Peter Pan's Flight with them. It was so out of the blue and incredibly magical to see her light up when she realized who tapped her and what was going on.

Lady Tremaine and I once had a lovely chat about how I'd like to write a book from her perspective (this was well before Maleficent and other programs showing villains in a sympathetic light). We still have yet to meet for tea to discuss the finer details.

My older daughter (17 at the time) had a good interaction with Peter Pan and Wendy. They went on for almost 10 minutes. It helps that we were there waiting and were the first ones in line. They talked about so much. He asked why she was so shaky and when I said she was really excited to meet him so got embarrassed and told him that it was because she drank a coffee. He got upset and told her that if she drinks coffee that means she's a "grown up" and she should never grow up. Then Peter and Wendy got into a "fight" with my daughter in the middle. We recorded it. It was awesome.

During that trip we made sure to ask the characters all sorts of questions. With the wicked step mother and evil step sisters I had one daughter ask when Cinderella would be coming. They got all huffy and said her castle is right over there. Maybe we should go find her. My other daughter asked the wicked step mother which daughter was her favorite. She got upset and demanded to meet their mother. They pulled me over and the wicked step mother asked me to choose between my daughters for favorite. It was so great. She even bowed to my nephew and tried to pawn one of her daughters off on him for marriage.

Kenny the Pirate has a great app that can give you ideas on what to say to any character. Helps you get more out of the meet and greets other than a signature and a smile.

Mine was with Anastasia a few years back at Grand Floridian. We planned to wed, take over the castle and kick Cinderella and the Prince out lol. It was the best and she will always hold a special place in my heart

We had a full family gathering there on dd#1's 7th or 8th birthday. Her grandpa had given her a Tigger birthday card because Tigger was her favorite. We found Tigger who signed her birthday card with the bouncy spring. I still have that card.

Mine was when my DD was just an infant. It was on 12/30/99 and super busy at Epcot. We were sitting on a bench in the outer garden in the UK and Peter Pan and Mary Poppins come out a door right in front of us. They walk over and start chatting with us. Peter picks up my DD and starts to walk away with her saying that Father Christmas has promised the Lost Boys a baby and our DD must be the one! Mary called him back and scolded him for taking DD. Somehow this all played out without anyone else seeing Peter or Mary or trying to horn in. It was wonderful. I have a picture somewhere. I'll post it when I find it.

Cinderella once asked me if I had met my prince yet. When I said no, she suggested that I try tying my shoes a little looser, in hopes that I would lose one...lol

Prince Charming at 1900 Park Fare. My daughter, 6 at the time, got to dance with Prince Charming. The look on her face was priceless and she still talks about how "dreamy" PC is to this day.

During our last trip my daughter was 2 and just starting to get into princesses. Her name is Evangeline (yes...after Princess and the Frog), so of course we had to take her to meet Tiana. We introduced our daughter to Tiana, and she just lit up. Naveen was finishing with another guest and she called him over. They just gushed over her. Eventually it ended up with Tiana holding my daughter, which I don't think they are supposed to do. Pointing out stars in the sky guessing which one was Evangeline. It was so sweet. I know my daughter didn't get it all, but she definitely loved the attention, and we recorded it for her for later.

Our son was 13. We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare. We mostly went there for our daughter who was 7. Every time a character headed our way, he would duck out and head for the buffet. On my way back to the table I ran into Lady Tremaine and warned her he would try to make a run for it. So she headed straight for our table and grabbed his shirt to keep him from getting past her. She made him stay and take pictures. She's my hero.

DD was 7 or 8 and we were walking down Main Street at rope drop when Alice came out of nowhere and grabbed DD's hand! Alice started chatting that she had been looking all over for DD and that DD must promise to ride the Teacups with her right away. Alice proceeded to walk and chat with my awestruck DD all the way to the Teacups where they rode together on the first ride of the day. All the while the rest of the family was walking fast to keep up with them. We've often looked back at the moment fondly, saying "Where else but at Disney would you let a complete stranger take your little girl's hand and let them walk away with your child?" You gotta' love Disney World!

I think mine is when I met Gaston for the first time. I had been looking forward to the meet before the trip was even planned out.

I'm in my full-on Gaston ensemble- tank top with his face and a Gaston-inspired bow in my hair. So I started walking towards him, but then he stopped me. He shouted, "DID I SAY YOU COULD APPROACH ME?". So I stood still for a good second until he motions me over with his hand. Still he walks towards me and plants himself so close to me that it actually shocks me.

Eventually I warm up and he starts talking about how much he loves my shirt.

We chat up about Belle, and hunting books, and Lefou, etc. and before we take the photo he leans in and goes, "You know, you're the 4th best looking person in this photo". I thought there were only three because I wasn't counting his reflection in the mirror on my shirt. So after we take the photo I make the mistake of trying to tell him there were only three and he had the whole line count to 10 with me. It was HILARIOUS.

We took DD (3) to CRT last year. When Snow White came to greet us she saw my DD name on her necklace and Snow White addressed her by her name, as though she knew her all along. It made my DD beam and the rest of us teared up.

The Beast at BOG. He was amazing and every family I saw him interacting with before me and my DBF had a unique and interesting interaction with him. He let DBF know that he wanted to style his fur similar to DBF's hair! I felt like a little girl again when he bowed to me and it was the first time I've hugged a character since I was a child. I still have the picture of me cheesing like an idiot when we posed together like a prince and princess. It was the first truly magical character experience I've had since I was a kid and Donald danced with me before kissing me right on the head with his over sized beak

At Cinderella's Royal Table we were seated last in perhaps the worst seat and the characters although very, very nice went so fast with my daughter who was 4 because the two preceding tables in front of ours were really demanding with time with the princesses. They took a crazy amount of pictures and the parents would keep the princesses very occupied with their daughters and came up with every possible photo variation you can think of. Thus when they made it to our table in order to make up time they would quickly say hello sign the book and be gone. It was very visible how they were pressed for time after being monopolized for so long. You had to be there. They were trying to move on but these tables were excellent at ignoring all the cues and putting the characters in an impossible situation.

We were the last table before the princesses left so we really got breezed over for times sake. Out of nowhere Snow White grabbed my daughter's hand and brought her to the top of the stairs and had my daughter wave her wand along with Snow White to make the lights dim and sparkle. My daughter was over the moon. Snow white kneeled next to my daughter and whispered in her ear talking to her and then gave her the biggest hug and it was such a wonderful moment. So all as well that ends well.

This picture was taken at Christmas 2007. It was our second trip to Disney, and it'd been a heck of an autumn for my son. He'd been homeschooled for Grades 1 through 4 due to a learning disability, and this was his very first year of public school - Grade 5. Within a month, he'd gotten horribly ill with croup and was sick for weeks, ending up in the Emergency room twice, and actually turning ten during one of those visits - Happy Birthday, kid! He'd also been diagnosed as hypoglycemic and the entire family was still adjusting to his new diet. Two days before we were due to fly to Disney, he was in the Heart Institute getting testing done due to some odd reading the last time he'd fainted (fortunately, they didn't find anything amiss).

Anyway, he was one very stressed little boy, by the time we boarded that plane to Disney. I'm not sure I remember exactly what day this picture was taken, but his big sister is looking pretty healthy so it was probably late in the trip (she came down with the croup herself the night we arrived). I do remember we were browsing the shops in the England when we stumbled across Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. It was just us and them, and no one else,and my kids were ecstatic to see them. Especially the boy, since he's learned to read with Milne's stories and the last assignment I'd given him before he's started public school was to do a biography on someone he felt a connection to, and he'd chosen Christopher Robin, because he'd also been home educated until he was nine. Look at that smile!

Mulan. I was wearing a shirt with a Mandalorian helmet print on it (Boba Fett's logo, for those of you who are not as much of a Star Wars nerd as I am!) when I saw her in Epcot, and she said, unprompted, how much she loved Mandalorian armor, it was so strong, but it wouldn't fit over her hair. Who knew Mulan was a Star Wars groupie?!

I love reading these stories of the characters making magic for all of your kids.

My daughter had a magival moment with Aurora (who happens to be her fav. Princess) it started at the restaurant in epcot with the princesses, she got to hold aurora's hand and lead the processional. She was so thrilled. 2 days later SAME Aurora was at the princess meet and greet at MK and remembered my daughter. Which thrilled her to pieces. Then about a 3 days later we saw the same Aurora, she not only remembered my daughter but also her name. I don't think I could have had a more magical time ... knowing that Aurora with all the kids she sees everyday to remember my child and to see how happy that made her.
