My first ride on it was when i was 8 and hated coasters. I think i cried before we got on. I rode with my mom and dad, i was in the middle. I loved it and wanted to do it again, but we had to wait for another day, as the line was long and they didn't have fast passes then.

This next trip, we are going to take my fiancee's 8 yr old (soon to be 9) on it, and she hates coasters. Should be fun.

My first experience on it was when I went with my parents to DW. I was in the 5th grade and I screamed the entire ride.

My son however, just rode it this past week. He'll be 7 in July. He LOVED it and got to ride it back to back! He can't wait for us to return!

WARNING TO ALL: THIS IS A VERY VERY EMBARASSING STORY.
It was 10 trips ago and I was only 8 years old. It was also my very first trip to WDW and I was super excited!

We decided to go to the Magic Kingdom, and when we all walked through the front gates my eyes lit up and I was filled with joy and excitement. So, we decided to start off at Space Mountain, and I was sort of scared. I didn't really mind the dark that much because I was so excited. I was calm, cool and collective UNTIL THE RIDE STARTED. The following is the dialogue:

Me: AHHHH MOMMMY STOP THE RIDE STOP THE RIDE! *crying*
Mom: *to father* HOLD ON TO HER!!!
Me: *I felt like jumping out* I WANT TO GET OFF!!!
Mom: AHHHH

Well, it finally ended and a family approached us and said "Did you hear that poor kid screaming stop the ride? *embarassed*.

My face was white as a ghost and tears were streaming down my face. An let's just say I have a terminal fear of darkness...
