Barry Manilow October 25 1975 in St. Mary's, Ohio. I was 15. He was nothing then and playing high school venues.
Keep asking DH to take me to Vegas to see him again

I have a friend that drags me to see him whenever he is a driveable distance away. Drivable is relative to her also, 8 hours is close enough.

He does put on a good show though.

Wow I love seeing all the first concerts. It's a nice wide range! My son summed up his night last night with " best night ever" so ething magic happens at a concert. I can't think of a better way to spend my entertainment dollars!

My first concert was back in either 1981 or 1982 I was in the 5th or 6th grade and it was Olivia Newton-John's Physical concert on Boston Common!!!

Probably REM in the mid 80s, was the first concert I attended. Didn't really know what to expect to be honest, it was a last moment thing - went, had a good time, and was not able to hear for the next couple days.

The Commadors, I was in the 8th grade. They actually came to town every year for several years and we went every time. Their concerts were a lot of fun with everyone dancing and having a great time.

As a teen, I saw Alice Cooper, Peter Frampton, Jefferson Starship, and Aerosmith. I liked them all, but the Commadors was really the most fun. (some of the others were more about what was "passing" around the stadium than it was the music, especially Peter Frampton)

DD's first was Taylor Swift, she was 11. Younger ds saw Aerosmith at 14. Older ds was older but he only wanted to see rappers and we didn't feel comfortable letting him go to some of their shows until he was older.

My mom took me to see the Monkees when I was 14. It was their eighties reunion tour minus Mike. "Weird Al" was their opening act.

I loved him so much, I wound up seeing him four more times over the next twenty years!

Three Dog Night in a park by my house in the 70's. As a teen, one of the band members lived in our neighborhood. I babysat for them a few times. It was not an extravagant house but it was cool to see "gold records on the wall".

I'm jealous about ALICE COOPER. He was a personal favorite. I bought his greatest hits on a CD this past year. I still love him!

My first concert experience was technically when I was 4; Bon Jovi performing at Great Adventure. My siblings were teenagers at the time so I'm sure they were all into it, but all I can vaguely remember from it is covering my ears from the noise and whining to get back to Bugs Bunny land.

Great Adventure used to have great concerts (I'm in IL now, so they may still have them...). My first at Great Adventure (without parents) was John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band (Eddie and the Cruisers).

Weird Al - what a talent! I see him when he tours also. The guy is just amazing.
