Oldest is at Coldplay right now. His first concert.
I took his younger sister to U2 last summer

And my first The Police at Shea stadium!

I'd say we all had some great firsts. What about you? What was your first concert?

My first concert was the Beach Boys and I was in 8th grade.

My DD's first concert was also the Beach Boys and she was in kindergarten. :)

Loverboy...at the Garden State Arts Center, probably 1982. Opening act was John Cougar. Awesome first.

1st concert was Bruce Springsteen - Born in the USA...hands down the best concert I have ever seen. The Boss can put on a show!

oh, goodness. first concert i went to was, i think...uh....sorry, i can't remember. there were so many when i was a teenager. it was either lionel richie, tina turner, rick springfield, or prince on the "purple rain" tour. last concert was travis tritt (my mom begged me to go with her) about 1994 or 1995.

I've seen so many concerts I'm not positive who my first was. I know it was either Foreigner or Kansas. Could have been Peter Frampton too.

As a kid I used to see Engelbert, Tom Jones, Paul Anka, and others all the time but I was like 11-12 and my dad worked there. They didn't count. :rotfl:

My aunt used to take me when I was little to Carmen concerts at the Miami Arena (he's a christian artist). My first big act concert was Brooks and Dunn with Reba in 1998 (8th grade).

I also used to go to the Chili Cookoff concerts in Florida, and the free concerts at the horse track in Hollywood. That was a great place to see old 80's bands.

Journey, April 1, 1983 Frontiers tour. Bryan Adams was the opening act.

Haha! According to my 11 year old she has never been to a concert. Guess it's because I was with her :lmao:.

As for me, my first real concert sans adult, was Led Zepplin, 1972. I was 12.

No Doubt with Weezer and the Lunachicks! I was in the sixth grade, and have seen them every time they have come through VA or MD. They are putting out a new album in September so I'm looking forward to a tour next summer! Green Day too!!

David Cassidy at the Garden State Arts Center, circa 1971 (I was only 10 yrs old). :lmao:

Eagles. 1977. I still have the ticket stub.

Can still hear Hotel California in my head! :)
