Your Favourite Gifts & Souvenirs?

A fun little gift to bring back are the leather bracelets that you can have engraved. They're especially fun to put nicknames on. They have both wrist and ankle styles. Key chains, too. We've found them in Frontierland at MK and outside the gift shop near the Safari in AK, and I think they're in other places, too. Lightweight and easy to carry home. It's fun to watch them be engraved, too.

I got a pair of mickey birthstone earrings for about $20 (maybe less, don't remember). I loved those, but they got lost last year when we moved. I love the mugs and Magnets also. DD5 loves those plastic dolls that are the size of polly pocket, and DD8 and DD5 both love hats (any kind.)

We get new beach towels. My favorite one is from the Trading Post at FW Campground...not the politically correct Mickey holding a gun. ;) I also love to add to my Disney Village collection. I bring it out every Christmas and set it up under my x-mas tree....the Monorail, Contemporary, Poly, Epcot, the Castle, Snow White house, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin. Hopefully I'll find some more to add to my collection on our trip next month, but I hear these are hard to find now. :( Christmas ornaments. I need to get a new Storybook collection this trip.

WOW where can you get the things for the disney village collection. Do they sell them in the Christmas shop at DD? How much is each item?

I'd like to know this also. I have my mom and an "adopted mom" that both love villages!!

Any info. on those charm bracelets would be appreciated.
I am thinking of getting one this trip. Where do you buy them? How much are they? How many charms do you get? Where can you buy them at Downtown Disney?
Thanks!

I brought a charm bracelet at AKL, you had to buy the bracelet and then the charms were sold each separately. I got a mickey charm and a "G" shaped one.

Also in previously years i have not taken much interest is the world showcase area of Epcot but this year i want to spend more time looking around the countries.... well lol the shops :rolleyes1 So what countries (shops) are not to be missed and what have you brought from each country?

It use to be tshirts and hats.

Now I pick up any new, not sure how to discribe the shirts other than the button, short sleeve florida shirts :sunny: . They have diff tropical scenes, usually with a Disney character. I have like 7 of them.

Shot glasses from the diff parks, resorts are another big item, not too expensive, but a nice memory collection of my trips.

Antenna toppers, but I don't use them, because they keep getting stolen. So I am going to make a special display for them.

I use to go crazy buying all diff stuff, but now just go for the more inexpensive items, though if I loose another 50lbs I will need to get new shirts :teeth:

torontogal: More info on the charms. I buy the individual charms - in pairs (Eeyore and Tigger, Mickey playing golf and Minnie playing golf, etc -don't ask why, I think it is an illness!!). My DH bought for me at Christmas a long silver necklace. And when we return from a WDW trip I take the necklace and the charms to the jeweler and have the new ones added on. I usually get them from the World of Disney or there is also a cart outside to the right and down a ways (maybe by the pin store?) as you exit the store.

I'm not much on bracelets. But I do love my necklace. In fact, I wore it today to work. Makes a dull day at work much more enjoyable.

Thanks for all your excellent ideas and suggestions. I think my bank manager will be having a word with me on my return from WDW :teeth:
