Your favorite Souvies and special things to do????

In March I was doing some last minute shopping in DTD and I came across this little store that was sort of hidden and everything in the store was $10 and under! They had cute magnets and little toys for the kiddies. I bought myself an adorable Window shade for the car is was $6. I also bought some magnets and pens for coworkers. Key chains and other things were inexpensive. I am sure you could find some things for your family to take home and not break the bank. It was across from the Christmas shop if I am not mistaken:

It's directly behind the pet store. In May I picked up a stuffed Donald dressed as a fireman and a stuffed Minnie dressed as a nurse there. I think they were around $6.00-$8.00. The Minnie nurse is sitting on top of my computer desk at home and and I gave Donald to my fireman son who has him sitting on top of his TV. They also had some Disney pencils that were cheap and cute.

At a store not too far from La Nouba (sorry I forgot the name of it), I picked up a really nice Disney mouse pad for my computer. It has a 3-D type look to it where you can look deep down into it, at different characters around the castle. It says 'Happiest Celebration on Earth' on it. I also picked up a little Disney character totem pole note holder in the gift shop at WL that sits on my computer desk. Don't forget to go by Le Chapeneu (sp?) to get your son some Mickey ears. They will embrodery his name on them for free. I even got me a pair of gold ones with my name on them that again sit above my computer desk to remind me of my trips.

ScrapperJill, that is a wonderful idea! My question is, arethe itemscompatible with the Mr. Potato Head from Target? Does anyone know? My son would absolutely LOVE this! But I want to make sure first,LOL.

Yep....they are compatible with the target/walmart (from what I've been told) Mr Potato head...from the sounds of it...they are the same. I myself haven't done it...but found out about it here on the Dis....But from what others have said...they are the same.

Thanks for the ideas guys! Keep them comming!! I know I will do a Potato head and the sillouette (sp?) and most likely some pressed pennies.. not sure what else yet. There will definately be TONS of pictures taken..hehe I am a picture nut. Hope to take at least 900! (if my memory cards let me)
