What is everyone's favorite signature restarant?? and why?? I've read some really good things about the artist's point at the wilderness lodge. I know narcoosee's and the california grill are well known for the view of the fireworks... etc.. Thanks for any info!

Jiko is my favorite signature dining experience.

It's more adult in feel than some of the others. I love hte atmosphere and ambiance. The server we had here was fantastic. Even the bathrooms are really nice here.

Then the food! I had the fillet and it was amazing. Taste of Africa is HUGE but a must for everyone going. The dips are incredible. The creme brulee desserts we had were also the best that we'd had our entire time at Disney.

Next to Victoria & Alberts, this is my favorite restaurant on premises.

We just love California Grill. Unbeknown to us the first time we were there in (2000) we got seated nearest the window overlooking the MK. We had delicious appetizers, lovely entree, and the dessert was sumptuous especially because just as the dessert was being served the fireworks display started at MK. What a finale!:cool1:

My favorite changes from year to year as do the restaurants. If we don't include V&A in this vote (because that is my favorite), I would right now have to say that JIKO sits at the top of the list. I agree with PP. My last time there (2 weeks ago) there were only adult diners, it was quiet, unhurried, enjoyed a great bottle of wine and had another great meal there.

I think Jiko may be my favorite....I will have that confirmed by our next trip, because we will head there again. Now that being said, I would have to say that Flying Fish & Cali Grill would be pretty hight up as well. But Jiko....it is just so different from anything I have experienced in Disney. The ambience, the food, the knowledge of the server, the food - all just supreme. My husband is a chef, and he'd probaby vote for Jiko too.

I've only been to a couple of the sig restaurants, but I really liked Narcoossees. I didn't think the fireworks view was that great, but wow, the crab cakes and desserts were TDF. My filet was great too, as were the sides, but I was WOWed by the crab cakes and key lime creme brulee. Yum

We always have a wonderful meal at the Flying Fish. My wife will usually have the daily special, but I stick with the Potato-Wrapped Red Snapper. It's one of the best fish dishes that I've ever eaten.

Ditto on the Potato wrapped Snapper - I think it is THE BEST fish entree I have ever had. It has been a signature dish sinced they opened. I would recommend that dish hands down...

California Grill. It is the res I have to make every time we go.

For me its the California Grill. All the signature restaurants are excellent, and I've enjoyed each one I've been to. But I prefer the menu at CG, and the its the best view in WDW.

Our favorite is Jiko. We love the atmosphere and have always had top notch service.

It's not really a restaurant, but it is a must eat everytime we go to MK. We have to get the McDonald's fries in FrontierLand across from Pecos Bill!! Followed up by ice cream from Mrs. Potts!!

Yum, Yum!!

Jiko is our current favorite. Our visits there have been perfect all the way around. Each one, a night to remember.

Another vote for JIKO mainly because of the uniqueness of the menu but Flying Fish is a very close second.:thumbsup2

I'm new to this and I keep hearing about jiko. Where or what is jiko?

Jiko is at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. There are 3 restaurants there and this is their signature, upscale, dining. They offer an outstanding selection of African wines. The appetizers are adventurous featuring African flatbreads and some other unusual items. The entrees are not as unusual as the appetizers but are outstanding.

Well behaved children are welcomed here, but this place definitely has a more adult vibe to it. The decor is darkened, intimate, very nice.

Right now it's Jiko. Brian (the new head chef) has been putting some fascinating stuff on the menu.

I like California Grill and I really don't care about either the view or the fireworks. The food is good without it.

California Grill for us. Love the sushi, excellent service and the contemporary but relaxed atmosphere. Great wine selection also.

I'm happy to see that Jiko, Cali Grill, and Flying Fish are the top choices here....those are the Signature restaurants I chose for my trip!!!!!:yay:
