One of my childhood friends was a huge Stones fan. He died from complications of diabetes in 1995 at the age of 25. Whenever I hear that song I think of Karl.

Love "Far Away Eyes", actually the whole album...and their early stuff...this thread made me look at "Up and Down With the Rolling Stones", Tony Sanchez...now that is a tacky read...I of course devoured it in 1979...and where is Anita Pallenburg ? Keith Richard's new wife is fab...Vogue 1976 and "More"...but I always wonder what happened to Anita ? I was born in 1961, Anita was the way to be....

Wild Horses and Angie. I think those 2 are hard to beat. Is one of these 2 where they sing "i went down to the something drugstore to get my prescription filled"? I like that one too, but dont know the name of it.

I've seen the Stones sooo many times. I LOVE ALL their songs so I have to say my favorite is

the one I'm listening to at any given time.

Shattered does hold a special place in my heart and I am inclined to sing Paint it Black without warning. I'm sitting here holding a concert in my brain. Thanks!
