Curious, now, to hear what your favorite resort restaurant is and what you loved about it. I'll be looking for some delicious reviews of foods that can be made gluten and dairy free, but I am just eager to hear reviews!
We are thinking about eating at multiple resorts this time (we didn't do that much last time).
Curious what is the "best" for two families of 8 with 4 children 4yrs-7yrs.

OK I do not know anything about gluten or dairy free but I can give some of our top choices & why.

Kona at Poly great food- love the fruit plate for breakfast comes with a muffin but maybe they can work on something for you.

Artist Point at WL a very over looked place. great food fabulous service all around gem.

GF Cafe kinda of quiet, had better fish there then Coral Reef. Again great service.

One place I am dying to try next trip Jiko we did the chefs tour & everything looked so good.

They should note the gluten & dairy thing on your ADR's & the chef should help you make choices.

We don't typically eat a lot in the resorts.. but I'd go with Chef Mickey's at the CR or Pepper Market at CS.

Kae,
We dined at Artist Point last time ! It was very nice because we could all hear each other and spend a leisurely meal. It was slow and easy. I liked that after so many loud and busy places. It was a nice retreat. The artwork was lovely and the service was just perfect. They were so nice, they even brought us out samples of sparkling wine (that was delicious). We enjoyed it. I didn't love the buffalo, but I did love my daughter's chicken dish. I would order that next time. I really enjoyed how they served their veggies! It is a nice place :)

We haven't been to any of those other ones. Kona sounds yummy!

Anie, what did you like at Pepper Market?

I'm a Buffett guy so I would have to vote for BOMAs.

Although I loved Ohans, my wife didn't like it. She said everything was too dry. I love my meat well done, so it was perfect for me.

1900 Park Fare - dinner or breakfast.
Many items on the buffet are fruits and vegtables.
Call WDW dining and get the 1900 Park Fare #. Then call the Chef 48 hours in advance - they will accomodate dietary requirements.

Our DD asked for Mickey shaped cheese ravilio's this past April at Tony's in MK. It is not on the menu anymore- at least not for dinner. The Chef at Tony's came out to meet my DD and asked her how many she would like. My DD was thrilled to be personally served by the Chef at Tony's. Dreams do come true - it does not have to be a night stay in the castle or a fastpass. ;)

My top 5 are:

Jiko
Artist Point
Citrico's
Flying Fish
Yachtsman Steakhouse

My favs are...

Kona Cafe at the poly! the food there is delicious. and the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge i love the food their and the atmosphere is awesome. :)

1. California Grill at the Contemporary
2. Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge
3. Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge

One of our favorites is the Concourse Steakhouse. We are so sad this will be our last time there in July before they move and change. :sad2:

Most of our favorites are in the resorts but if I had to pick one it would have to be Boma. The restaurant has the added bonus of being in one of the most beautiful hotels on property. We love all the interesting food. But if you are not the adventurous type there are still plenty of choices to keep you happy.

Second choice would be a tie between Kona and 1900PF.
