Your favorite "random" Disney parks memory :)

I organized a trip 3 years ago which was the first for my parents and my sister. We visited DL many times growing up, but this was their first time at WDW. As DH put my son to bed, my sister and I headed back to MK to hit a few rides, especially those we shared as kids at DL. On the Jungle Cruise, the CM reached the point where he warned us that he was going to scare the hippos away with his pistol. He then waves the pistol in the air, never fires it, and yells, "GO AWAY HIPPOS!" We lost it, nearly ROTFL. To this day it makes me laugh, and it's even more special to have shared it with just my sister. We're going back next January for my 40th birthday, for my 3yo niece's first trip!

Ours was in Dec, I wanna say 2013, not long before they ended the parade at AK. We entered the park and went over to Camp Mickey first to meet some characters, we where standing in line to meet Pocahantas and we were laughing and joking around with each other and we got to talking to the CM that was handling her, we chatted for a bit and he ask us if we wanted to be in the parade that day, no one else even got a chance to answer, I was all over it, YES, of course. So we went to a building over by Pizzafari about 2 or so and got all costumed up since it was Christmas time, vest and hats and stuff, we went out the back and we kept walking past all these floats, till we got to ours, and it was Mickeys, we were on Mickeys float. Mickey came out shortly and a photo guy took some pics and we chatted (if you can call it that) with Mickey for a bit. We got Mickey to dance, he crumped (a new dance, the kids do) for us, it was hysterical. My DN was 6 at the time and I don't think she will ever forget it, standing in the back behind fences and dumpsters dancing with Mickey. I wish we could have gotten pics of that. But they do actually give you the pictures they take before hand and while you are on the float, or the rights to them, to do whatever you want with them. That was our biggest Disney moment, probably won't ever top that.
