Your favorite "lame" attraction is...

Mine would have to be Tomorrow Land Transit Authority and the train at Magic Kingdom. They both provide a nice relaxing break from all the walking.

If I had to pick just one, it would have to be TTA, although I liked the Wedway Peoplemover version better! :earsboy:

List:
TTA
It's a Small World: everytime I go with other people they say they hate it cause they have ridden so many times. Well excuse me, my first ride was in 2000, so I have a long way to go before I get tired of it...I love humming the song

Carosel of Progress: again, this is due to I had seen this on tv for years, and always wanted to go on it.

monorail

train

jungle cruise.

Actually I DON'T THINK ANY OF THESE ARE LAME.

I think they are just wonderful :wizard:

Alright, I am now (since I started this thread, I make the rules ;) ) officially declaring the TTA a NON-LAME ride. :teeth:

I, of course, never thought it was even in the "lame" category, but apparently many people did. :)

So, if you're going to say the TTA is your favorite lame attraction - forget it - it's now (at least on MY thread) a HEADLINER.

OK, I think you people are the ones I can talk to about this! Don't you hate it when people start talking about "updating" or heaven forbid doing away with these attractions! I'm beside myself with anxiety just thinking about making any of them more modern. I'm not quite over the Tiki Birds!!

What was really sad, is I have alot of Disney music on cd, and one of my many favs was the Tiki bird song, which I learned, then went to WDW...and..it was updated! I was so disappointed that I didn't get to see the old one, but then back to DL and saw it there and was I a happy camper  . I had gone to DL before WDW, but with a friend who has lived near it all her life, so she is the one that kept saying, no, its lame. And so that is why I love going to WDW alone! I can ride all the 'lame' rides as much as I want! :Pinkbounc

I am glad to know others also enjoy CoP, and TTA!!!

Hall of Presidents. I can never get my family to go, but I love that one.

Also American Experience at Epcot is great, but my family refuses to go to that one as well. I guess I'll just have to go by myself some time.

Those are my 2 favorites as well. DH says HOP is good for a nap. When we went in 2003, it broke and George Washington bent over at the waist. My 2 dd's chanted "George Washington fell over" as we left. :earseek:

Mine is a toss up between Tiki Room & COP. I remember the COP as a young kid at NY World Fair and seeing it again in the 70's at Disney. I hope they don't get rid of it as there has been talk of doing. It is usually closed because we go off season but it was open in Jan when we were there. Hope it is open again over Thankgiving weekend when we are at Disney.

I love Spaceship Earth, El Rio Del Tiempo, The Land, Peter Pan, and all of the others but I think my favorite is TTA and the Monorail.

Headed to Disneyland for the first time!!! :cheer2:

:love: ::MickeyMo :love:

I am always happy when I discover that I enjoy a "lame" ride as I know the wait will be short. That being said I would be saddened to miss:

El Rio Del Tiempo

The Land

Jungle Cruise(the first ride I ever did at WDW)

Country Bears(I find the fact that you can hear the old gears working charming)

And of course the futuristic train type ride whose name shall not be mentioned any longer on this thread :rotfl:

Tomorrowland Transit Authority!!

I disagree, all our family love this ride, which we have nick named "the thin blue line" after a TV show here in the UK. Its a nice relaxing ride.
