its a great big beautiful tomorrow....
How I can't wait to get there and go on this ride. I'll have to send DH with DS2 to Buzz while I do it because DH refuses to go on anymore because he sings the song for weeks!!!!!!!! (ditto for 'por favor mantgense allejaro de las puertas'- forgive my poor spelling, but you monorail lovers know what I am talking about!)
...El Rio Del Tiempo. I like the 70s feel of it (does the part with the hot tub and the bar remind anyone else of "Three's Company"?), and the theme sticks in my head for hours, and I don't mind! The last time I went to THE WORLD, I rode it three times in a row, and several more times during my 7-day trip. There's never a line (could it be because it's "lame"?) and it's so relaxing. Ahhh...
My close second is...da da da da...drum roll...Tomorrowland Transit Authority! I love to just go around and around. No wait and it's relaxing. (I think there's a theme here.)
LOL so true! But that reminds me of my very favorite "lame" attraction. The train! I could ride that around and around the park!! I love going throug the lands and seeing the native american camp and the inside of Splash Mountain, and how the music changes.
A very close # 2 is the Tiki birds, but ohhhh how I miss the old show, is was so relaxing and gave you more a a magical feel, rather than just a show feel.
Transit Authority, never miss it.
and although I don't do well anymore with stairs, I always like the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House and dreamed that if they ever sold it I could buy it.
For me it has to be Peter Pan's Flight. I love that ride because it is so Disney. This is how "lame" I am. I did the whole theme thing. On the way to Orlando I watched the movie Neverland with Johnny Depp, then made sure I rode Peter Pan's Flight at least four times throughout the trip. Luckily my 15 year old daughter also still loves this ride. My husband's awesome. He humors us and goes on it with a smile.
Four of us (including 2 teens) in spinning teacups is probably pretty lame but we enjoy it anyway The kids pretend to protest this and many other MK rides but they really like riding them and our jokes about doing so
I know this ride gets slammed a lot on these boards, but me and my family just love Journey Into Your Imagination. All my kids can talk about (when we talk about another trip to WDW) is seeing the "Imaginary Dragon"!
Snow White. I love that ride! On another thread recently people were listing attractions they never go on and Snow White was mentioned time and again. Also, TTA, COP, Spaceship Earth. I really love each and every ride at WDW they are all wonderful!
