What would be your favorite Disney World TIP that you have learnt over the years? It can be any tip, planning, packing, travelling, visiting, etc.

Mine would have to be to put on sunscreen before going to any park and possibly bring a hat where you can easily take off and put on your belt so that it doesn't fly away so that you don't get sunburned! Yes, very basic but a very good tip. Sometimes the parks are so tempting that we all forget about this!!

always bring a poncho if you don't want to get wet! and better to purchase at home beforehand.

use fastpass!

to use the early magic hour to go on my fav rides before the crowd gets in

If you can't get a PS for 2, tell them you have 3 and you'll get a 4-top. A CM told me that one!

Use FastPasses whenever possible.

Make PSs for the restaurants you really really want to eat at.

Bring wet wipes! They're good for cleaning ice cream fingers, and cleaning dirty sticky tables, and freshening up when you're stinky and sweaty.

RELAX! WDW will always be there, even if you can't go again for another 15 years. Take the time to notice the little details.

Big Lots has them for $.059 !!! Can't beat that price.

And pretend everyone is 9 months or 99 years old. This way rude people are funny and not....well, you know.

Don't be afraid to slow down, stop and "smell the roses". You'll be amazed at how much joy the simple things bring.

I have to agree with # 11. Slow down and look around. The rides will still be there even if your 15 minutes later getting there. But the thing that I've learned over the years is to start somewhere and just keep going. No running back and forth to get on the best rides first. Never backtracking or skipping around. Slow and steady. :cloud9:

microfiber socks and underwear really are the best.

Bring along ziplock bags to hold things that might get wet. I used these a lot when we went.
Also when I was there it was much better to arrive 5 mins late for a ps then 5 mins early. When we arrived 15 we waited 30 mins to be seated , when we arrived 5 mins we were seated within 5 mins.

I feel stupid for asking, but what's a 4-top?

Sorry, yes a table that seats four. That's my restaurant background talking. ;)

Go at your child pace (if you have them!), don't expect them to keep up with you. Those are the families you walk by at 11PM yelling at their kids to stop whining!! Drives me nuts.

You'll do a ton of walking. Plan for it beforehand. Work on your stamina before you leave by walking 3-4 times/week.

And get some Body Glide at a runner's store before you go. You can put it on your feet and other areas where you might...chafe...to avoid blisters and, well, chafing. It's odorless, water-resistant, isn't greasy and comes off with soap and water.
